From deep in the heartland of all things sultry and sweet, comes Precision’s very first riddim release for Carnival 2014. It is a tribute to their birthright and also an explosive celebration of the fact that without the South there could be no Soca.

The aptly named Sando Riddim, has been specially crafted by the team to musically exemplify the majesty of their particular corner of the earth.

A hypnotic bassline embedded with honeyed melodies, combined with stunning voices and gifted writers, brings to life the distinctive magic that fills the air as you head south of the lighthouse. 

The fireworks begin in Farmer Nappy’s song, which describes the natural friendliness and all encompassing sense of welcome felt not only in his native Siparia, but throughout our twin islands. That homey feeling, which turns each familiar face into “Family”.

Also featured on this riddim is one of Precision’s very own songwriters, Akeem “Preedy” Chance, who debuts as an artist with the sizzling track, “Wining Champion”. He gives an exhilarating performance as he steps into the limelight, more than ready to show another facet to his talent.

Patrice Roberts is the sole female in this release, but she holds her own and in “Doh Rough Meh”, fervently demands that this season, all men should mirror their southern brothers and focus on keeping up with the seductive foreplay of the women this year…or else.

Speaking of southern seduction, the reigning Soca Monarch, Machel Montano, beguiles the ladies with “Drop It Down”, assuring them that this carnival he will provide their derrières with safe haven, and endless enjoyment as he takes them far deeper south than they have ever been before.

Never one to be left out when it comes to paying tribute to the southlands, Jaiga joins forces with Nutron for “Gyal Season”; a harmonious dedication to the exotic beauties who traverse these isles in rampant variety, adding much appreciated spice to very grateful male eyes and lives.

Soul singer Isaac Blackman takes us out spirit dancing in his selection “S.O.C.A. (Soul Of Calypso)". With his stirring vocals he awakens the most dormant of feelings, as he lifts us to heights of musical ecstasy where Soca equals love and love is shared through Soca. ©Mystie Thongs

At the beginning of every Carnival there are always the same questions. What are you coming with this time? Who will you be working with? Will it be better than before? Every year we get them and today we intend to quiet all of the talk the best way we know how. So, in response to the inquiries already sent and those to come, Precision gives you, the "Lip Service Riddim". Smooth, with just the right amount of bounce and groove, the music gives listeners the sweetness Precision is known for, while adding some new twists and turns, which indicate the unchartered directions the team is flowing into.

Perfectly complementing the musical vibes is a cast of performers that represent the future vision of Precision Productions. On board is a balanced mix of young artists, seasoned champions, and fresh international voices that are taking their first true dip into Soca.

First up is Kreesha Turner who already has multiple albums, a No. 1 Billboard hit, and many nominations under her belt. She is Canadian born, Jamaican bred, and stands out with her eye-catching, cutting style as she vocalizes Dance, R&B, and Dancehall. "I Will Be Here" is her first ever foray into Soca music, and as you will be able to confirm on listening, the lady is quite talented.

Have you ever done something once and it was so good you had to do it again? That is exactly how Precision felt about working with R.City. Out of St. Thomas, V.I., and having worked with Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, and Justin Bieber, the team felt a natural connection with the gentlemen. This timely meeting of the minds ultimately resulted in a strong showing, for this their first time on a Soca riddim, with the song "Nobody Ready".

Talking about musical connections that seamlessly fit together, it was with great pleasure and the usual amount of fun that Akeem "Preedy" Chance dingolayed his way back into our studio. Preedy keeps surpassing expectations and giving Soca addicts, songs like "On The Low" with the sole purpose of keeping them in a constant state of rhythmic joy.

Respected as a writer, a producer, and in the last few years, a promising artist in his own right, GBMNutron expresses his saucy desires in "Rock You Out". Direct, spicy, and full of salacious overtones, this number describes a sexy Carnival encounter and the ensuing outcome we could all only wish for on the road and in every fete.

Meanwhile, "Feels Like Love" from K.Rich goes a step further and articulates the precious embrace of mutual affection. Using his charming voice and demeanor, this growing talent generously adds a special affection-driven lift to the level of excitement experienced during this time of year.

Now, there are a lot of heavy hitters on this riddim, and then there is the King of the Road himself, Machel Montano. In this, his first release for Carnival 2017, Machel brings to song his commanding stage presence. He demands an end to all "Lip Service", and instead streamlines his focus only on those who can and will back up their rampant talk in the most tangible of ways.

Precision Productions, is a young in age but old in knowledge music production team based in San Fernando, Trinidad and Tobago, which has collectively amassed just about 20 years in studio time and work experience .
The company’s resume reads as a who’s who in the local, regional, and international musical arenas. From Grammy award winner, Chaka Khan, celebrated regional artists Machel Montano and Tessanne Chin, to R&B superstars Carl Thomas and Toni Braxton, the Precision team has garnered work experience in Trinidad, Jamaica, New York, and Los Angeles.
In addition, their productions have won them multiple prestigious International Carnival awards and at times a top three sweep in competitions in Trinidad, Grenada, St. Lucia, Antigua, and St. Kitts/Nevis.
For the young entrepreneurs, 2012 undeniably stood out as a benchmark year, as their music practically swept the International Soca Awards with 11 nominations, and 6 outright wins. This was along with their music productions attaining 6 unique placements on MTV’s The Real World and Road Rules, two very popular television series which are aired worldwide.
With Precision’s present growth and influence in the Soca industry it would be easy to overlook their incredible abilities in other genres of music, as well as in other music-based industries. 
However, the company has taken its dynamic energy and relentless drive into multiple genres, such as Calypso, Reggae, R&B, Gospel, Rap, Hip Hop, Pop, Chutney-Soca, and Dance music. 
It has also gained commercial and corporate success with innovative advertising campaigns for clients such as local communications conglomerate bmobile, regional communications and media giant Lime, and the internationally renowned brand Coca Cola.
These endeavours have synced quite well with Precision’s budding merchandizing and event management business ventures as well as its now thriving publishing arm.
