For this release we wanted to create contrast, yet with these 2 versions keeping some of the characteristic sounds that represents the label, Afro, Deep, House and Disco to mention few.
Cincity explores on her remix an exotic and dreamy soundscape through her version with melodic fragments blending with the afro sample provided from Gledd. A massive remix that hypnotises.
On contrast, a slower yet funkier version from Stefano Ritteri , a gifted Dj/Producer from Italy delighted us with a Nu Disco interpretation of Osun. Taking cues from the trumpet sample of the original perfectly compliments the array of dreamy sounds who combine playfully with Stefano's characteristic stabs. A mind-melting remix for the more Nu Disco enthusiasts.

After their amazing "Fail Better" release we welcome back the german hit makers for another single drop. Ich habe mir einen Access Virus B gekauft und wollte damit einen Techno-Track produzieren“, erzählt der junge Produzent W.T.F.. Mit seiner Neuanschaffung wollte er die Stärken des Synths nutzen und jagte deshalb den Leadsynth im Track durch so viele Effekte, bis er ihm gefiel: „Ich liebe sehr harte Tracks beim Raven!“ Tracks, die unerwartete Wendungen haben, aber trotzdem an Energie gewinnen und sie nicht verlieren, gehören zu seinen Favoriten. „Ich produziere also meist Tracks, bei denen ich denke: „Sowas kommt im Club zu selten!“ Oder: „Das habe ich so noch nie gehört!““ Diese Komponente ist der letzte Drop in seiner neuesten Produktion, die den Titel „W.A.R.“ verpasst bekam. „Nach mehreren Drops wird man am Ende für das lange Warten mit einem großen Finale belohnt.“ (...)

Art and science are inseparable: one cannot exist without the other. 

Creativity leads to innovation and that is what Precursor is striving for. Connecting elements from electronica and techno, Precursor's music leans on the verge of two sonic universes. 

Precursor is an electronic music artist and mixing engineer with over a decade worth of experience in various genres, playing nationally and internationally touring with dj sets, live acts and audiovisual shows. He also worked as a composer for film with credits on Feyenoords' documentary ”Gimenez” [2024], and short films ”Dr. Geiger” [2023] and ”Vlucht” [2024].

He's currently working on his 3rd studioalbum after ”Wanderlust” [2016] and ”GLIA” [2022] on Swedish singer Sailor & I's Arvet Records. The latter includes an award-winning videoclip of the track Opulent which won a prize at the Art of Neuroscience competition in 2022.

Besides Arvet, Precursor has credits on labels like OPIA (by Olafur Arnalds) and Just This (by Hunter/Game).
