Deeply influenced by the Saturn-Moon matrix, alternate dimensions and virtual realties. Deep trance, astral projection, and altered states of existence, seeing without being. Long progressions of sound tentacles, amorphous sculptures of fluid, paracusia and false pattern recognition, extending the limits of conscious perception. arcane knowledge, ancient aliens and astronauts. Underwater artifacts, sunken temples, ecosystems, large alien spacecraft, submersed sound design and unusual places, reconnection with previous knowledge learned and forgotten over past lifetimes.

Iurta is a project of drone/experimental music, delivering long and evolving pieces of hypnotic patterns of sound. Our work is based on trance-like states: from the use of a single sound source to dense structures of moving sounds, what is central is the reaching of some sort of altered state, when the rational mind is switched off and the archaic mind emerges us in primitive, archetypical images, feelings and sensations. 
The archaic mind is buried deeply in us but we are products of our culture; in that sense we tend to use abstract expressionistic soundscapes rather than traditional trance-inducing methods. In order to switch out the rational mind we have to intoxicate it, drown it in layers upon layers of repetitive drones and sounds, leave it drowsy and numb; only them can we be sensible to the ethereal realms, to the archetypal dimensions. Dimensions that may well be just a delusion of our mind.
