Tulips, bicycles, canals, history, fine art, DJs, and most of all the Dutch people make Amsterdam and the Netherlands a place I could easily call home. 

But Amsterdam is more than a place to me — it’s a symbol of the joy of finding community, of sharing and thriving with people who support one another. Hopefully you can do that right where you live. Or here on SoundCloud. We are "stronger together" is more than a trite slogan because it is a mathematical fact. So let’s take a joyful trip and dance as if everyone applauds your moves.

What was that man dreaming of, the one who played the saxophone the other night? When he finally wakes up, we’ll ask him – though it’s unlikely he’ll ever reply. And if by any chance he were willing to answer, he might say: "Nothing that I can remember, because nothing ever happens in my dreams."

This is the second in a series of eight easy, acoustic, rather short, and deliberately inconclusive tracks, assembled by combining new ideas with reworked older material, adding parts and sounds along the way.

A Cave In The Inside

The music project "Present Paradox" by Dortmund-based David Kleinekottmann provides insights into the often opaque nature of the present. The result is a fusion of melancholic and danceable elements, expansive and intimate at the same time, diverse and yet familiar. Since 2013, Kleinekottmann has been regularly releasing LPs/EPs that move between indie, experimental rock and electronica.
