The music project "Present Paradox" by Dortmund-based David Kleinekottmann provides insights into the often opaque nature of the present. The result is a fusion of melancholic and danceable elements, expansive and intimate at the same time, diverse and yet familiar. Since 2013, Kleinekottmann has been regularly releasing LPs/EPs that move between indie, experimental rock and electronica.

I am a German composer & sound designer currently situated in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. I am at the moment studying for a degree in cinematography and sound design. My work is mainly dedicated to film scoring & ambient sound design. But I have also contributed music for commercials, fashion clips (e.g. Esprit, Streetwear Today...)  and image films.
