This was my personal favourite set of 2016- have a few more hammer sets coming up, but none that will allow me the freedom to get wild with it than my saturday night set at WolfSheep for Rifflandia 2016(Free DL Link https://hearthis.at/primitivehustle/djprimitivedubselektawolfsheeprifflandia2016-tracklist-in-description/).  The Dubselekta crew had a different theme each night, Turntablists on thursday, Drum and Bass on friday, and on Saturday they had a future booty vibe going.  I played after Arctic, who played a dub techno, techno and uk garage set and before Ganjoid and Ghostwhip from Philthtraxx- a label bent on taking classic detroit ghetto tech sounds to the future.  I wanted to bring a set that combined some cool 95 bpm bass music hybrids with booty breaks, acid breaks and techno- and then finish it off with footwerk, juke, and classic ghetto tech- which is how ive been finishing a number of soundsystem sets in the last couple years.  I was feeling it.  Hope you do too.  Turn it up.  Get loose.

Pushing the DJ and rave lifestyle in the Pacific Northwest since 2000, supporting the music community by creating a slew of residencies, coordinating gigs for other DJs, promoting shows and developing the community through platforms like Party People Sound Solutions, Primitive Hustle, and PK Sound Victoria.  Strengthened through many collaborations, creating connections and culture; trailing a wake of blissed out revellers. All Primitive ever wanted was to rock a party and he is guaranteed to create a sweaty mess on the dance floor.  Primitive’s sound connects the dots between Techno, House, Breaks and Acid, while also dabbling in offshoots of Drum and Bass including Footwork, Juke, Half Time, and Jungle. A DJ’s DJ that can burn down any dance, Primitive sets are system flexing.
