2 years later,  Its still hard to believe that our friend Pumpkin is gone.  I had DJ'd a show with Nicholas in San Fransisco just 1 week before the accident and I'll never forget the morning I woke up to the news of his passing.  I instantly felt the hearts of so many being shattered including my own.  Since that time all I have felt is those shattered hearts come together and become stronger as Nicks legacy, music, and love lives on with us everyday.

Pumpkin will always be one of my favorite DJ's with his impeccable taste and the ability to touch the hearts of everyone on the dance floor thru music. This tribute mix was recorded following his Celebration of Life on Monday April 4th, 2016 and shared with some of Nicks closest friends at the Boogaloo Crew HQ in Los Angeles <3

After an incredible year at Astral Harvest I decided to make a quick mix of the disco jams that  I played in the Morning Disco to close out the main stage Sunday morning with my pals Mister Crowley, Steve's Here, Vanilla Disco, Opaque, Mistress Mangladesh and Everyman on the Mic.

I was so happy to bring back the morning disco to the festival, for years Neighbour and Dane held down the fort. Hats off to those boys for keeping the funk/disco alive.

Hello friends! 

This is a musical journey that has been created for my Dad as a Father's day gift.  Music is how I express my self and I wanted to put together what best represented where it all started. This is the music that I grew up on with my parents and that easily has the largest influence on my music career.  I'll always remember foot tapping to classic rock on the way to hockey when I was a kid. Cruising down the Deerfoot with the windows down on a sunny day.  My father is one of the nicest most humble men I know and the best father anyone could ask for. Thanks for everything Dad.  I hope you all enjoy this journey.

Open Road Classics With Dad

Playing music on New Years Day is always one of my favourite sets of the year.  We've all put the old year to bed and come together to share in the coming years rich potential.  Over time, I've found that the sets that resonate are the ones that riff on classics, are rich with soul, that are just all the way down funky.  Comfort music.  Feel good music.  
 Accessible, but done right, hits for the heads as well.  I nabbed this recording from a set that I did not think was going to happen.  2020 was a rough year.  I hadn't performed since August as pandemic lockdowns had curtailed 99% of live music.  So I really wanted to catch the feels right.  Glad I captured this.  Hope you enjoy. Ok I am finally back with something new for you all after an extended pandemic hiatus! Hope you've all been keeping safe and healthy throughout this, super happy to get this mix out to you all. I got some good  feedback on the first instalment of this mix did  so bringing back another 90 mins of chill, downbeat road trip type tunes to help soothe those winter days. I brought in the extremely talented Jimi Needles to add some fresh cuts and FX to the mix as well, super happy with how this came together. Hope you all enjoy it as much I did putting it together!
