Born in France and raised in Montreal, Canada, DJ Franck Kash fell in love with music at an early age, listening to everything from Hip Hop and R&B, to Indie Rock. Combine this with his parents Central African roots and the musical influences of his older siblings, and the result is what would later become DJ Franck Kash, a producer and master of ceremonies whose songs have an honest feeling to them.

Part of Franck’s appeal is that his production is as cinematic as it is down to earth. He creates sonic experiences that allow him to use music to interpret human emotion and cultivate connections. The result is a sound that is both theatrical and mellow. The music is meant to take listeners on a journey away from their reality while also teaching them something; it is true to Franck, as well as relatable. Franck believes firmly that it’s possible to change one’s life by changing one’s outlook, and he aims to make music that reflects this belief.

On his debut EP, Handshakes Away From Success, released in February of 2020, Franck uses the 8-track project to take an insightful look at success in its variation of forms and meaning. Furthermore, the full EP has been mixed and mastered by the Glaswegian music producer and DJ known as 
S-Type; he is a current member of the Scottish record label LuckyMe. The vinyl version of the EP is currently available for purchase at two known records stores in Montreal (in person and online), at LaRama Records and Atom Heart Music.

Franck has also been featured on several notable music news outlets such as Montreality, Voir Magazine, iHeart Radio Canada, Nightlife.ca, HHQC.com and others as an artist to watch. Since 2020, Franck is also an international monthly resident DJ for the collective “Touch The Wood” based in Rome, Italy for their online radio show.

Franck Kash has performed at a number of venues/events in and around Canada, including: Newspeak, Bar Le Ritz, M For Montreal, Occupy The Hood, Bar Datcha, and Club Soda. He has shared the stage with the likes of Mndsgn, Night Lovell, and a host of others. Franck has opened for: JAEL, Azizi Gibson, Myth Syzer, and YBN Nahmir, just to name a few.

In addition to taking his music around the globe, Franck has plans of delving into design, directing, and film scoring. Be sure to keep up with all that Franck Kash has going on by following him on all social media and music streaming platforms.
