Inspired by high mountain ecosystems and indigenous cultural and musical environments, Zemög composes Ambient, Deep-tribal and Dub taking as a sound source modular synthesis, natural field recordings and captures of aboriginal and meditation instruments becoming a well known name for his mystic style on productions. 

He starts exploring production in 2011 and as a DJ in 2012 with his old project called Tsynth, with which he released two EPs, "White Sand" for "ALSS" and "Woods" for "Tono Limited", in addition to some remixes.

In 2016 he began to develop his Zemög project and it was until 2019 when he decided to release his first works. "Vuoto EP" was the first release in the From a Lost Place label and months later "Orinoco EP" published under the Italian label Ordinamento Selettivo. In 2020 with his track "Gudayka" releases his first vinyl 12 "sharing a VA with Korridor and Launaea for From a Lost Place next to others releases later: 'Timbiquí' in Circular Limited and 'La Morte di Socrate' in Different Exhibition's Italian label.

He was part of the Technosis collective for 6 years, had one year residency at the “Parallel” club and another year at the “HUM” club located in the heart of Pereira. He has performed “warm up” for Claudio PRC, Abdulla Rashim, Korridor, SNTS, Hector Oaks and others. He currently resides in Bogotá and is a member and visual artist of Matteria Collective, a group dedicated to making events and fostering culture through electronic music. He has played in several cities in Colombia such as: Pereira, Manizales, Armenia, Medellín, Toro, Oriente, Ibagué and Bogotá.

It is now around the very talented Ben Cyan to propose his artistic vision for the release of the fourth part of our podcast series Inculcations.

Based in London, Ben Cyan is a fervent defender of a very energetic and hypnotizing techno. Great amateur of the genre, he now has a very great experience in the field of djing. 

Having recorded various exceptional sets for Crescent London, Dosis Records, CODECAST, Further Sessions or even Obscure Sorrow Records, this passionate artist justifies a confirmed know-how for building deep/ hypnotic techno sessions.

And his latest achievement does not deviate from the rule. Ben signs here a real masterpiece, which propels his audience towards an elevating techno, above the mesosphere, which recalls the soaring hours, suspended, during the frenzied gigs in rave or club.

Laima is a student in classical composition at University of Music and the Performing Arts of Stuttgart, and yet, she shines by creating atonal and tuneless sounds. Her compositions are filled with wet and organic textures that will drive your soul to the farthest swamps. We are super happy to have her for our first podcast.

SAAM. 'Salvo Pizzuto is a DJ producer born in the Italian peninsula, who has always had a passion for deeper electronic music, clubbing and listening to his favorite DJs over time have shaped his tastes to where he is currently. Salvo started DJing around 2017 at various underground parties in his hometown and is one of the very few DJs in Sicily to promote deep / experimental techno. His inspirations come from the wonderful nature that surrounds him and from mysticism. Its sound is based on dark and ambient percursions and modulations.
Salvo is constantly growing, always looking for new hypnotic and atmospheric sounds that can lead the listener on a mental journey by recreating soundscapes.
His resume is constantly growing, he has made several releases on
Nfeere, Space Texture, DNC LIMITED, etc.

We're pleased to welcome - and would like to introduce you to our next guest: 
Porunñ, a fresh talent based in Lyon (FR). Both curator & resident at his Monochrome series, acquainted to the french collective/crew Melifera (amongst the organisers of the revived "Vallée Electrique" Festival, which is taking place again this year), Porunñ's style is deeply influenced by Nature and ambient. 

This present set wanders between lush, spacey-dubby or tribal sounds, with a care for textures and strong atmospheres. The whole mix is being traversed by undeniable, yet luminous bass lines.  Time to go lay down lazily in the grass, close your eyes and let yourself be immersed in Porunñ's green microcosmos... :)

Our next guest is an artist based in Stuttgart. Driven by his passion for music, he has evolved in the hypnotic ambient techno scene. His deep, organic and atmospherical sound identity was inspired by the classic genres and nature ambience and textures. As a huge supporter of the local culture scene, he also engages in different kinds of artistic creations and especially the connections between the different Arts. Together with Laima Adelaide (@amlia) and Tama he is part of the Stuttgart based label @predawnrecords. Please welcome @edte-1

Our next artist was born in 1973 in Sardinia. He fell in love with music at the age of 15 years, starting to frequent a local radio station and then intrigued by the DJ world trying to understand its secrets. The first gigs and then the residence at the k2 club and for 3 years at the Sueno de Ibiza club, one of the most important techno club in Italy. Later entry into the Sound of Mix roaster, which led him to play in many European events and clubs. Slowly the sound changes up to the hypnotic and dark techno, never too fast and with a deep groove. Currently he is a very active producer on both  vinyl and digital with releases on @planetrhythmrec, @seancelimited , Subsist, @attseries, @nowayrec, Black rec. and many others. He also carries on his very personal ambient project, with 2 albums released on @anay_jp and the monobass project with his friend of all time DJDatch. Sound is his work, mix and master engineer, sound designer and teacher of sound synthesis. Soon he is scheduled for two new vinyl releases on @seancelimited and @nowayrec. TRÊVE Serie 49 with Kontinum (IFZ, Aequalis, Nebula, TGP)
Jonas, who grew up in the far north of Germany, moved to Leipzig after 20 years of wind and rain. There he was quickly inspired by the prevailing sounds of the Institut fuer Zukunft and finally started the Kontinum project in 2016 with a focus on atmospheric and dissociative Techno. Over the years, the palette of sounds grew and now ranges from ambient to deep techno to contemporary club-oriented techno. In 2017, he founded the Nebula collective (@nebulakollektiv) with a couple of friends and started hosting the first illegal events. In the course of time, Nebula has also found its way into the Leipzig club scene and is now an integral part of it.
Since 2022, he has had the privilege of being a resident at Institut fuer Zukunft and co-host of the infamous Aequalis events. Over the years, Jonas has continued to develop and perfect his own sound and has had the chance to release on labels such as The Gods Planet (thegodsplanet), Lowless (@lowless-music) and Oslated (@oslated).

This week’s podcast comes at you from Melbourne-based Ian Morrrison aka Morian. It gives us the biggest pleasure to collaborate with individuals around the world exploring the music they love, and new dimensions and depths of their creative expression through mixing. 

In Ian’s own words: “My musical foundations are rooted in AC/DC, Sabbath and Metallica and give rise to a love of 4/4 rhythm and the riff. From here they veered into where worlds collide – Pink Floyd met the Orb in a student dive and a love of electronica was born, encompassing pioneers such as Orbital, Leftfield et al through to UK D&B, taking in Kruder &amp; Dorfmeister and the dub scene along the way. The love affair however ended in the early nineties, I wasn’t feeling anything from electronica any more, but I knew the music I could hear in my mind must be out there - somewhere. My musical imaginations seemed to put all of the above aspects in place and was only discovered pre pandemic in the form of deep techno. This discovery so rekindled my love and excitement that I took the plunge into DJing - I wanted to take the music internally heard and create mixes to ease back to and soothe the soul. Voila. I hope you all get the same level of enjoyment from this mix, as I had creating it.”
