Perhaps best remembered as the sole survivor of the ill-fated suicide cult "People From Space", Andrew Sweeney has returned to his first love, music. His remarkable journey from a childhood spent in the otter enclosure at London Zoo to his ground-breaking work as guitarist with Scotland's best known Inuit throat-singing ensemble "World Of Blubber" is the stuff of legend.

Springing to life as an acoustic guitar duo rocking Hobart's historic Salamanca Place and its famous olde style pubs, Brad and Billy crafted The Grass Line's sound from a mixture of stripped back Coldplay and Glen Hansard covers with their own raw original tunes. Developing a solid live reputation and a keen local following the boys earned a spot on the APRA stage at the 2012 Marion Bay Falls Festival to help bring in the new year.

Needing a bigger sound for their growing ambition they drafted in Dylan for his driving skins and imported Anton from Russia for his funk-tinged basslines. The newly formed quartet quickly gelled and in 2013 played for the Dunalley Bushfire Relief in January and were a featured artist in the Moonah Arts Centre Concert Series in March.

They are also excited to announce Priscilla (vocals/keys) has joined the band just in time for the intense pre-studio time rehearsals! All seems to be falling into place in the grass line world.

The Grass Line are recording their debut EP for release in Spring 2013
