Originally released in 2000 on the band’s own Placid Casual label (between deals with Creation and Sony), the Super Furries career-defining fourth album Mwng was the band’s only Welsh language long player. It reached Number 11 in the UK album charts and was their highest selling record globally up to that point. It remains the biggest selling Welsh language album of all time. On its original release, the record was praised in an Early Day Motion in the House of Commons for its significant part in promoting the language and culture of Wales.

The reissue comes in several formats. Deluxe editions (vinyl, CD and download) contain five tracks previously released on the US version of Mwng under the name Mwng Bach as well as a previously unreleased Peel session and a full live show recorded at ATP.

With a UK tour in May, and new album out on April 30th, Brendan Benson released the single Pretty Baby on Lojinx on … 

Pretty Baby is the product of a collaboration with country singer Ashley Monroe, written and recorded in Nashville, it is indicative an album embued with newfound friendships built in Brendan’s adopted home.  Musicians such as Jon Auer (The Posies, Big Star), Ken Stringfellow (The Posies, Big Star, REM), both of whom Benson met at a concert to honor Alex Chilton, as well as Brad Pemberton (Ryan Adam’s Cardinals), Mark Watrous (Loudermilk, Gosling), and Sam Farrar (Phantom Planet) are members of his extended musical family who have contributed to the creation of new album What Kind Of World released 30th April on Lojinx.

Self-produced and recorded in the analogue-only environs of Nashville’s “Welcome to 1979” studios, Brendan’s new long player What Kind Of World features members of Big Star, Ryan Adams' the Cardinals and Phantom Planet.  

Co-founder of The Raconteurs, Benson has spent a lifetime spread across four states, from a childhood spent on the outskirts of New Orleans, to his years in Detroit, Michigan, sojourns in Los Angeles and San Francisco, and a more recent relocation to Nashville, Tennessee.  With five solo albums, one as Well & Goode and two albums apiece with The Mood Elevator and Raconteurs, he has captured his own America in finely hewn pop.   

Created as an outlet for his own writing and production work, Benson’s Nashville based label Readymade Records & Publishing will follow the release of What Kind Of World with the debut album from Young Hines in May, produced by Benson himself.  Both albums will be released in the UK and Europe by Lojinx 

Brendan Benson will be performing the new material and beloved classics in a string of UK & European dates in May.

Here is Never Mind, Dizraeli and the Small Gods' very first actual single. 

The single is Never Mind, which is a track to shed your inhibitions to, partly inspired by tripping out.

The B side is The Little Things, which is a song about saying the things you feel, to the people you feel them for. 

There's also a radio version of Never Mind, which is shorter, with slightly different lyrics in the first verse for those who might be offended by the lyrics in the first verse of the original. Pum pum.

Nascida a 21 de Setembro de 1986, Lindsey Stirling é uma violinista, dançarina, cantora e compositora. Em 2010 participou na quinta temporada do programa 'A America Tem Talento' (America's Got Talent).
Com apenas 5 anos pediu ao pai para aprender a tocar violino, influenciada em grande parte pela musica clássica que este ouvia. Teve assim aulas privadas durante 12 anos em musica clássica e aos 16 participou numa banda de música rock constituída por 4 amigos chamada 'Stomp on Melvin'.
O Cinematografo Devin Graham, após a participação de Lindsey no concurso 'America's Got Talent' no ano de 2010, contactou-a via Facebook com a esperança de poder realizar vídeos com a artista. Alguns meses mais tarde Lindsey entrou em contacto com ele de forma a gravar o seu novo video para a musica "Spontaneous Me". [6] O Video ajudou imenso para o aumento de popularidade de Lindsey.
