"All Control" somehow garnered some popularity over the years on its own, the original track not being on any album, but a relatively obscure netlabel compilation called "Of Men And Machines" between rec72 and Audiovisual Theorem.  (found here: http://rec72.net/?p=251)

Some friends from here in Chicago and across the pond were kind enough to offer their own virtuosic and imaginative takes on this strange track, coming together to make this EP - all organized by Marko Medkour at Rec72.

This includes my third self-remix of this track. I really shouldn't remix it anymore...



All Control (Professor Kliq's Harder Than The Hard Version)

My very first original album; it's pretty short and very simple. I had an obsession with hip-hop, trip-hop and ambient music. DJ Krush, DJ Shadow, DJ Cam, Aphex Twin and Radiohead were all I listened to at the time. All of this was made on a Pentium II machine with no MIDI controllers - but I did have access to a Moog Rogue that my brother gave to me as a gift, and I still have to this day. I used ACID Pro and ReBirth 2.0 for everything else.

I was an angsty, depressed teenager (not unlike most at that age) and this was how I dealt with all of it: music. The only therapy that's ever worked.

Vesta is a Deep House producer and DJ from Leeds. Whilst he is new to the scene, he is no stranger to the world of music production and live perfor​mances. Previously known as the Electr​o-swing sensation Jamie Berry he has played extensively on the festival circuit and at venues around the world including Paris, Berlin, Vancouver, Stockholm, Vienna and Brussels. After several years focusing on Electr​o-Swin​g, Jamie redisc​overed his love of House music and is now embarking on a new career under the new name “Vesta” and is set to push his efforts to a wider audience with a forthcoming Deep House EP entitled “I Feel Something” through Flak Records.

Blackmill - Gaia (Full Version)

This is a track I created several months ago for a beat-maker competition that was supposed to be held here in Chicago... it was cancelled the day before. I've had this track sitting around ever since... it uses a sample of "Chhabeela" from the (completely fantastic) Bollywood film "Saawariya".

This is the version of me singing.. 'Bobo Nelson' is still me but my voice pitched lower (2 semi-tones):)

This gives you an idea of how the mood of a track can be altered so easily.. Might make a video of the making of this for you guys..

Hey guys.
So here's one of my favorite tracks of all time, probably the first electronic track I ever heard and really liked. My Mom used to play this in her car when I was a kid, particularly as we went through the car wash. I usually close my live sets with this mashup which features:
