This sensationally crafted four track EP perfectly cap- tures the dark melodic techno sound that Francys has grown so accustomed to. An ambient and atmospheric undertone accompanies and surrounds each production on the EP, which is perfectly captured by the opening track ‘Different Shapes’. This production is a perfect opener displaying Francys diverse and unique sound that is often trademarked and recognizable by the synth melodies that layer each production.

Combining crisp closed percussion and haunting de- layed synth keys; ‘Nibiru’ offers a more minimal techno sound to the EP, with the distorted snare and powerful kick drum layered under the track. The baseline remains ambient leaving Francys synth arrangement to draw in the listener and drive the production forward.

‘Arcenciel’ captivates the listener with a fusion of darkened piano riffs and chilling melodies. This track is a stand out production from the EP, a steady dramatic progression over eight minutes resulting in the track gradually fading out accompanied by an echoed synth.

Paco Maroto, settled in Barcelona, is just one of the most acclaimed national producers. He has published his music in 
big labels like Deeperfect or Defected and collaborated with producers like Stefano Noferini. Furthermore, he owns the music label Musak Records. 

Amanita Drums is just a massive production. Dark atmosphere powered by massive drums and bass line. Sick track for techno lovers. 

The remixes are signed by De La Swing, resident in elrow and Florida 135, who delivers a tech-house remix with great synth sounds that perfectly complements the original track. Pavel Petrov, who has published in Toolroom, Sincopat or Trapez, offers an enormous and powerful techno remix.

It was in 2014 when a mutual friend introduced me to Victor Ruiz while he was staying here in Berlin. I invited Victor to my studio where we had a fantastic session, playing our music to each other, listening to stuff we like and simply talkin and connecting. Since then, we became close friends as well as starting to work together. Victor has released two outstanding EPs on Electric Ballroom by now. This summer we met again and recorded three tracks. Having previously featured as a remixer on Joal’s ‘Uncover To Discover’ in 2015 and more recently as part of our Showcase Volume 3 compilation, the German Producer now earns his stripes with a fully fledged EP of considerable weight and stature.

The Scandinavian climate was brisk and fierce. In the northern parts of Sweden there was little sound to be heard as they stared up towards the mountainside. A tiny hut could be seen in the distance, a light flickering from a small fire ablaze outside. This was to be the place, the only musical landmark amidst the outback of the north. Hailing from its mothership label Circus Recordings, Yousef resurfaces his supplementary outlet Carioca Records with a much more musical approach. Unlike Circus, Carioca is designed to be less of a reflection of Yousefs DJ sets, but rather opening up a wider musical latitude, offering an opportunity to release more hypnotic house and techno, not always aimed at the DJ’s, but instead the music enthusiast.
 
Off the back of headlining sets at Glastonbury & Burning Man Festivals and a series of dates at Space Ibiza during the final season for the legendary club, Dave Seaman has been on a roll this summer. His record label, Selador Recordings also continues to go from strength to strength reaching the milestone of 50 releases with Dave's own production 'Nightfalls' which enjoyed both widespread critical acclaim and some healthy Beatport Chart action. 

And now Dave boards the Carioca express with a muscular two tracker under the Palindrome People Project banner. 
"These two tracks both started out as one thing but I ended up going backwards to go forward and then they turned into something else entirely", explains Dave. "Hence the palindrome tag, sometimes when making music retracing your steps can be more productive than just ploughing on."

If you're still none the wiser, a Palindrome is a word that reads the same backwards as forwards. And so accordingly, let us present 'Do Geese See God' & 'Devil Never Even Lived'. Get it?!

One thing we do know for sure, whichever way you look at it, be it forwards, backwards or even upside down, the Palindrome People certainly know their way. You down with PPP?

Nic Fanciulli's first appearance on Rejected came back in 2009, when he took over "Room 3" of the labels famous Dusty House. This was followed by last years "Together", his co-production with label boss Joris Voorn and today he returns to Dutch shores again with his latest brace, "Movin' On" and "Round & Round."

With "Movin' On" featuring in his brand new and ready to roll 'Balance' compilation, our timing couldn't be better. Perfect for the summer floors, it rolls heavy with Fanciulli's trademark drive and funk. Breaking out the harmonica and letting the divas holla, he drops the bass in the synth-lead breaks before slamming it back for, dare we say it, those real hands in the air moments. The terraces eagerly await.

Pulling no punches on the flip, we have "Round & Round." In typical heads down fashion and with a dizzying display of hats and snare, Nic turns in a floor burning tool that could easily demand its very own room in Rejected's dusty abode. Two strong cuts from one of the most consistent producers of today.
