When you have been running a label as long as we have, it occasionally happens that you have releases up the pipeline which take ages to be released. The remix EP for Patrick Chardronnet’s 2013 hit "All I Got“ is such a case. Already planned for more than a year ago, it has taken this long to be ready for release. But, as good things sometimes simply need time, we think it was well worth the wait and are now more than happy with the result: Four remixes in total, three for "All I Got“ and one for "Random Beauty“, make the release complete, now.

We kick off with the Audiofy Hook Remix, a characteristic interpretation for the super simpatico and world-traveling DJ-duo and long-time friends of Connaisseur. Super tripping, massively grooving and big in love of details. Thank you boys!

Next up is man of the moment Musumeci. His take on "All I Got“ is a super catchy pearl in his own distinctive arp-driven style with touching and tender melodies. A tune for your heart and soul which we are sure will be a regular in many sets in the next months.
The third and last version of "All I Got“ is by German rising star Schlepp Geist, who just had a strong open air track with "Tura“ on our summer V.A. “BBQ Techno 5”. His interpretation, screaming "RAVE ALERT", will destroy dance foors. Massive alarm sounds and a demanding groove make this tune a peaktime guarantor.

The fourth and last track is a remix for "Random Beauty“, the timeless b-side of the original release, which we consider one of the best tracks Patrick Chardronnet has ever have made. Responsible for the remix here is Anthony Middleton, one half of Audiofy and the amazing US act Dance Spirit, well known for their releases on Audiofy’s sublime Supernature label.Their remix is a pure trip taking you far away. Their sensitive dealing with the parts shows their big respect towards the original work. A special track for a special moment.

Release Info: 
Brazilian artist Nato Medrado, one of the most exciting southamerican deep producers nowadays, is the choosen one to lead this new Prog-House release in Univack Records.

He is actually a well known name in the spanish label discography, having two solo EP´s released in the past ("Wordless EP" in 2013 and "Evolving EP" in 2016).

In the end of this year, he is going to release his debut LP in one of the biggest deep house labels out there (it´s a secret yet).

In this third appereance in Univack, the main original piece by Nato ("You") it´s followed by three progressive interpretations.

The canadian Fassi (Re:Sound), the russian Hells Kitchen (Manual / PFL) and the dutch Alessandro Diga (Particles / InLab).

4 tracks guided by dancefloor oriented melodies, huge strings, deep atmospheres and large epic breakdowns.

So now “Better Be Nice“ while dark basses are crashing in and techno tunes make their way. After “Tailwind“ and “Radio Star“ you remember that darkness gets always replaced by sunlight. Make your peace and get “Back To Bed“ till you recovered and under control. Finally „Prince Charming“ guids you to a beautiful place outside. A deep breath and you’re ready to go back where you started.

Marc DePulse - Hats Off

We Need Crack’s made the more subtle remix of the two. It starts out dreamy which is strengthened by a kind of vocal-like pluck. Although of its dreamy vibe the track has something clubby as well. A light arpeggio slowly works towards a break after which the bassline is finally introduced. The moment they make you yearn for so badly. The arpeggio works in perfect harmony with the bassline as if it is floating on the waves of a deep sea. A perfect addition to this great EP!

Hannes Bieger - Tephra 

Hannes Bieger (@hannesbieger) is one of Europe’s most in-demand mixing engineers, working for some of the biggest names in the business. With such a wealth of experience, it’s no surprise to anyone that his own productions are every bit as beautifully constructed as his high profile clients. Dropping this three tracker on 2nd home Poker Flat, Bieger gives a lesson in tech house dynamics.

Title track 'Tephra' is a true proposition - urgent, skittering drums with deep bass pulses pepper the track, while a delirious lead takes things into epic territory - a track that exists to send chills up the spine of dancers and listeners alike.

'Didyme' is cut from similar cloth - perfectly balanced elements create a whole that far outstrips its minimal elements. Arpeggiated synths sit low in the mix before a lead brings shades of rave into focus.

Rounding out the release, 'Galeras' is more of a heads down affair - tough and funky drums set the pace while bass tones and fragments of melody provide the late night vibe.
