The world is under siege ...again. Olympics under way in the midst of a pandemic? Does it matter? Of course it does. However, when so much seems to be amiss for so many, for so long, maybe, it Doesn't Matter? An ode to a dystopian moment in human history.

Well, well, well...this one crept into Monday...and Monday evening at that. I took a long weekend in Monterey and lost some valuable production time in doing so. Oh well, very much worth it.

Chapters released every weekend. All TAFFETA tracks are created within seven days.

I use a complete hybrid of organic & electronic sounds within the scope of the Taffeta project. Nothing is out of the question and no limits are set on how things may evolve one way or another.

Project I-la-rI is a one-man experimental music project from Turku, Finland. The tunes are all original pieces composed by Ilari I. Rantala. The project began in 2015.

Hello my friends and welcome to my cloud! I play all the instruments in my music (unless noted otherwise in the song), sing, write the lyrics and deal with the aftermath myself. The tracks are recorded and produced with minimal equipment in my home, other places that are qualified as homes and in the field with a portable recorder.
