Paper's hook up with Norway continues to pay dividends with new artists who seem to knock it out the park with each release.

The latest is People Love Music's Diskobeistet who tick all the boxes for grasping the sound of Paper's heritage on a 4 track EP release for lovers of straight up "proper" house.

Birkelunden teams up tribally beats and smoking Rhodes with a Norwegian gentlemen's vocal that we're told is about going to the park, having a smoke and jumping up and down on a bouncy castle. So now you know.

The remix comes from another of our Norwegian friends, De Fantastiske To's Ravi who gives it a bit of old school grit and jack before the bleepy bloppy style breakdown opens it up for the darkest dance floors. Is it techno? Is it house? Who cares!

Gammal Morro goes late night with a lazy hazy, sunset drenched vibe hooked around a Rhodes and nagging riff. Drive with the top down on this one and sport a pair of sockless espadrilles while you're at it.

Nattergal is classic Paper all over, live sounding drums with snaps and claps in all the right places alongside a low slung bass line & chika chika guitar. Never straying far from the path, this is house for those that like it simple, straight forward and solid.

Into the fold we introduce Trp from Heilbronn who delivers a deep slice of timeless, nostalgic floating house. The Black Tone from Clermont-Ferrand provides a hypnotic rolling heads-down dub track which will work the floor nicely in the morning. Archaic Space from Greece provides a deep trippy number with warm melody. Finally, S.Moreira who you may know from his incredible releases on the label he co-runs called Slow Life shares a brooding breaks-orientated dance floor destroyer! We feel privileged to have these producers join our family : )

Hazed and Confucius is a group of House, Lo-Fi House/Techno lovers based in Seoul, South Korea. Their goal is to spread and share their love of music through various parties, broadcasts and compilation albums with their guests and friends.
In their second compilation VA002, HZDCFC invites their friends to share their stories. Di Barsotti (Novaj 新し, France) reveal their love of Asia, DJ Spielberg and DJ Legwarmer (No, She doesn’t, Portugal) dig through Korean records, while KAZUHO and Romy Mats (N.O.S, Japan) criticize Japan’s strict regulation of night clubs. HZDCFC VA002 also contains tracks from local Korean talent DJ Bowlcut, Jae Young, Anchore and Monika who all contribute warm and hazy house tracks.
