A Number of Names - Sharevari  Well, let's continue this with some proper education in electronic dance music history. Heading for the highest heights from Detroit in the early 80s, this gem is supposed to be one of the groundbreaking records of that time. Truly inspired by Kraftwerk they add their rough and harsh attitude to create a whole new style. Even though this is a quite overplayed track from back in the days, it still sounds fresh and shaking.

@boom-boom-334974808  - Pressure   A classic record from UK by David Duncan, so inspiring  to hear this kind of rave material from the 90s.  Slowed back machine drum rhythms, hypnotic arpeggiators and true soul vibes. This is made for a proper Dub Soundsystem, be aware of the massive bass !!!  So obviously there is a dub version too, which is even better.  Pure emotions here from start to finish. Huge love to Jason aka Faso for giving me this sexy reissue with Luca Lozano artwork and remix.

@credit00ratlife - Super Scratch (@egyptianlover Remix)  From Plauen over Dresden & Leipzig to Los Angeles. Alexander Dorn aka Credit 00 is one of the realest dons out there. After several huge releases and his unique style he dropped this EP with a decent Egyptian Lover remix. Truly one of the most inspiring music idols for me. So good to see his success through the years by constantly pushing his own signature sound. What an honor to have a remix from the 808 Don Egypt Egypt now. Check out the original mix by Credit himself, hard to pick a fav. His version is definitely something for the B-Girls & Boys.

@gay-marvine  - Goodnight (Disco Edit)  Lovely edit of Paul McCartney's “Goodnight Tonight” Is it time to say goodbye already ? Have a look for Gay Marvines imprints „Bath House Etiquette“ & „Secret Mixes Fixes“  He made so many great high NRG disco edits from the famous songs by Donna Summer, Prince, Sylvester & Rick James for example. Driving through the valley in the sunset, this is your roadtrip sound as it best. Good memories only !!

We continue with our ongoing mix series “Mixed Feelings”. This time we’re going into the 5th round and we’re proud to present an extended selection by the wonderful @bunny_tsukino

It’s packed full of breaker’s and lo-fi vibes, switching from break house to garage, breakbeat over to jungle and dnb.
But no genre boundaries are set in this mix, as it fluctuates in between a lot of different styles.

Bunny Tsukino is a rising DJ based in Leipzig and is part of the none.such collective and cofounder of the new event series “HOTSHOT” at Institut für Zukunft.
Besides numerous gigs, she curates the Leipzig Wednesday classic “Halftime” at Conne Island.

This mix has been on my to-do list for a long time. 1 hour and 40 minutes of only loving music. Tracks that are very epic, that make you confident, that are thoughtful or that make you smile. Every transition well thought out so that no disturbing factor destroys the feeling. At the end of a two year pandemic and so many hopeless moments and in the middle of a disgusting war in a country where music nerds would rather djing or producing club bangers in peace than having to pick up a gun. I hope that with this mix I can make sad people a little bit less sad and increase everyone's joy for the summer with it anyway! 6 tracks are from the new compilation by Emotional Voyage Records. I don't need to say much more about the label, I think the two co-founders are trying to convey exactly the feeling I described above with this project. <3

@kollektivost - The Ultimate Warlord Remix | The Ultimate Warlord has been an all-time favorite for me with all its different versions and edits since I first heard it in a fantastic set by David Vunk. However, this version by Kollektiv Ost is definitely one that sticks in my memory. With its majestic melody and playful elements, it's definitely a wild piece of music <3

@hardton - Flawless - Tobias Bernstrup Italo Remix | @tobias-bernstrup is one of my absolute favorite artists with his unmistakable Italo sound and funky 80s vibes. His mix of emotional vocals and synth melodies puts a smile on my face every time. The combination of Tobias Bernstrups musical influence and the disco vibes of Hard Ton it creates such a good vibe.  Great song - Great artist - Definitely worth a listen!

Fairlight Children - 808 Bit | Saving the best for last - I've fallen in love with 808 Bit more than with any other song. A track that I simply can't stop listening to. The combination of 8-bit sounds and the emotional melody gets stuck in your brain forever. After I discovered the song on vacation, I played it up and down and it is symbolic of my love for synth sounds and the musical 80s :)

@rancapduoicollective - Straws: Rắn Cạp Đuôi is an experimental music collective based in Saigon. Straws and What Cherubs are my favorites from their *1 album and it was a jewel discovery of mine a few months ago. Their sonic landscape feels like a cathartic blend of softness and chaos that I just want to drown myself in. It encapsulates everything I love about experimental music. 

@syntrovert & @hypna_52 - Fairy Tales + DRM/BLL: Am a sucker for cute melodies indefinitely…this fantasy reggaeton track from Chilean producer Syntrovert really got me :) - I could listen to this melody over and over. And yesss more drums blend with Hypna‘s DRM/BLL !

@deejayflex973 & @ayrastarr - Rush (Afrobeat Remix): Following up next is an afrobeat remix of rush by- a recent discovery from @user-48185313 's heated Tokyo boiler room set.

@b-e-b-e-t-u-n-e - SUKI GIRLZ 9: For months now, this song keeps popping up on my YouTube home page and in my recommended videos, especially during the evening hours. Almost every time I come across it, I feel compelled to play it. There's something about it that brings to mind the loading screens of video games. It's like a brief pause to rejuvenate and gear up for the next challenge. Listening to it relaxes me immensely; I adore its simplicity.

sofa - across the ocean: I consider @triplexlarge to be one of my most frequently visited SoundCloud accounts. “across the ocean” is the first song I discovered from this account. It captured my heart, and ever since, I've been enamored. Each new release from them brings me a profound sense of peace and a wave of nostalgia. Lately, I've found myself drawn to downtempo music; the slower pace provides a welcomed respite from the fast-paced dance tunes I often produce. It's a refreshing break from the daily chaos and the constant party scene.

Depeche Mode - Useless (@kruderdorfmeisterofficial Session): Several years back, a friend introduced me to this song one morning after a party. I found myself listening to it on repeat all the way home. Though I occasionally forget about it, it resurfaces in my mind every so often. Remarkably, the emotions it stirs within me remain as potent as when I first heard it. It's astonishing how the simple act of waves hitting my ear can evoke such profound emotions. I love music.

AIR - Modular Mix: Every city should install big speakers in their streets and play this song every morning. A must have for my morning routine. just pure vibes..

Grupo G - La Cumbia de los Monjes: My introduction to cumbia happened during my first trip to Colombia, even though this particular song is from a Mexican group. That journey introduced me to incredible people and sparked a deep love for the country. This song has become my ultimate favorite cumbia tune. Its rhythm is infectious, and I find it impossible to tire of it. To me, it embodies pure happiness. Que viva la cumbia por siempre por siempre!
