This Week: Proper Charts 056 pres. by @minakodnb

We’re super excited to welcome Minako for this week's episode. Starting out in 2012 as a full time raver, she soon followed her dream to become a proper part of the DnB scene by using her communication skills to found her own label @bananabassmusic with some close friends. In 2016 the label took off and since 2018 she decided to take her passion for DnB to the next level with the help from some fellow producers and DJs and turned a hobby into a new talent. ‘Music and especially drum & bass helps to channel feelings, which makes it so much easier for me to deal with them. But also for the pure joy of celebrating my most beloved tunes and music genre of all time. I'm a drum & bass nerd and this rhythm just tunes in with my heartbeat.’

Proper Charts is a weekly format bringing you a diverse line up of artists and DJs showcasing their personal current top 5 tracks. Releasing every Sunday this format acts as a counterpart to todays commercially pushed music charts, instead focusing on underground club music and independent producers.
