 It gives me great pleasure to celebrate this new year with a new mix “If You Know, You Know”. This Part 2 is fully loaded with the vintage stuff that stands the test of times accompanied with jacking stuff from here and now.

Hearing ‘my’ music mostly in dreamstate, I proceed taking it with me into this world.
Trying to create&sound my emotion, my inner&outer world into a sphere that others are welcome to dive into. I wish to send the intention of my music in a pure form from my heart to yours.

Westend has emerged as one of house music's most promising artists. The New York native's ever-expanding sonic footprint was instrumental in drafting the blueprint for the sound of modern tech house and helped usher in an era that has seen American artists once again push to the forefront of dance music culture.

As a teenager during the blog house era, he fell in love with the sounds of artists like MSTRKRFT, The Bloody Beetroots, and Justice. Compelled to replicate those groundbreaking sounds, he dove head first into production classes at the Bronx High School of Science, the alma mater of famed synth engineer Robert Moog. 

His ability to remain on the leading edge while staying true to the roots of house music has created peak dancefloor moments for ravers across the globe and led to releases on esteemed imprints like Repopulate Mars, Insomniac, Armada, and D4 D4NCE. As one of Beatport's top ten best-selling tech house producers, hit records like 2021's "Jumpin'"—with fellow New Yorker CID—have not only spent weeks dominating the top of the charts, they've landed into the crates of MK, Diplo, Lee Foss, John Summit, and Sonny Fodera. 

Each passing year brings breakthrough moments. In 2022 he collaborated with Latin house kingpin, HUGEL, and Cumbiafrica on "Aguila," which sat in the top ten for staggering eight weeks. In 2023 he collaborated with longtime friend Noizu on the rave-tinged anthem "Push To Start," which quickly rocketed to peak positions on the tech house and overall chart.

And while he continues to climb the charts, he's also been a faithful steward of the producer community leading the Kick and Bass network, where he shares his vast production knowledge with several hundred budding producers. 

Beyond his production prowess, Westend crisscrosses the country, regularly performing at festivals and clubs from EDC and CRSSD to Shambhala and The Brooklyn Mirage. In 2023 he made his first forays onto the international scene with gigs in Liverpool and a coveted slot on Insomniac's kineticFIELD at EDC Mexico.

Westend's creativity is constantly expanding. His plans for the coming year include launching his label in late 2023 and embarking on his first solo headline tour. His remarkable journey from throwing micro-raves for New York high schoolers to headlining festival stages exemplifies how the DIY spirit of dance music continues to permeate the culture.

Rotterdam based dj and producer Lucien Foort got enrolled in music preschool at the age of 4 where he developed the early beginnings of playing the flute whilst reading, writing and composing music. When he enrolled in music school at age 10, he started playing the saxophone and studied classical music and jazz. But being inspired by the art of turntablism and beat mixing he ventured behind the decks a few years later. And at the age of 19 Lucien Foort took the world by storm, when he released rave anthem “Quadrophonia” in ‘89.

His productions find their way into the record crates of the high and mighty of the dance scene, a.o Carl Cox, Roger Sanchez, Sasha and John Digweed. He has released on international record labels such as Bedrock, SONY BMG, Universal Music, Armada Music and Toolroom. His tracks have topped the dance charts worldwide and club anthem “Bleeep!” on Toolroom was a nr 1 in the Beatport Tech House charts for 7 months. Touring all over the world he has played at big festivals and venues like Tomorrowland, Time Warp, Creamfields, Dance Valley, Mysteryland, I Love Techno, Roskilde, Extrema, Sankeys, Pacha and Amnesia. Sharing stages with talent like of Carl Cox, Sven Väth, Richie Hawtin, John Digweed, Ricardo Villalobos and Monika Kruse.

The last few years Lucien focused on studio work and the Dutch underground scene by playing at respected venues such as Maassilo, Factory 010, Toffler, Westerunie, PIP The Hague, Club Poema, Bahn and festivals like Milkshake Festival, Boothstock Festival, Indian Summer Festival and Outdoor Stereo Festival. Which led to Lucien & Friends events and stages at Maassilo Rotterdam, Outdoor Stereo Festival and several clubs. His recent house and techno releases are being supported by names such as Paco Osuna, Marco Carola, Loco Dice, Sam Paganini, Kink and more.

Last but not least Lucien Foort has hosted radioshows on Dutch radio stations 3FM, ID&T Radio/SLAM FM and Fresh FM.

Prunk is a Dutch DJ/ producer and owner of PIV Records. PIV club nights are organised in venues as Chicago Social Club, Marktkantine and Claire. Prunk is a STRAF_WERK and DGTL regular.

DJ/producer Prunk is working at his own pace, but this doesn’t mean he’s taking things slow. His label PIV, which he started in 2015, has been steadily releasing EP’s, like his own production ‘Sexy Brasil’ that was released on the imprint in the spring of 2016. Together with his sparring partner Chris Stussy, Prunk released the ‘Material’ EP on EWax in the winter of 2016 and the two also released ‘The Machine’ EP that came out on the notorious Nervous Records and EP’s on Moulton and Innercity Records. These EP’s caught the attention of vocalist Alex Mills, who you can hear on Miguel Campbell’s hit Something Special. Prunk and Mills hooked up in the studio with No Cure as a result. Other labels Prunk has released records on are: Electronique, City Soul and King Street.
Next to producing Prunk is a resident STRAF_WERK and he is a regular at DGTL and Jenja (Bali), has played in Monaco, Barcelona, Zürich, Lille, São Paulo, Ibiza and at Awakenings Festival. His warm and sexy, but always dancefloor orientated and uplifting sound that finds its influences in artists like Kerri Chandler, Djebali, Mark Farina and Mr Ks is definitely attracting attention from promoters.
After editions at Chicago Social Club and De Marktkantine Prunk’s PIV Label night has moved to Amsterdam’s freshest club Claire and already had an impressive first edition in April. Prunk will also host a PIV stage at The Ark, a cruise that will take-off from Barcelona sets sail to Ibiza. In 2018 you can see Prunk play at the following festivals: The Hole Festival Brazil,  Awakenings Festival, Welcome to the Future, Straf_werk Festival, , Amsterdam Open Air and Extrema Festival.

Having risen with the current crop of Dutch DJs and producers that broke through to global acclaim, Jesse Voorn has established himself as an essential, singular artist. A highly accomplished, versatile producer who is able to channel intense energy and personality into his own idiosyncratic records, Jesse has unleashed his undeniable talent on imprints as revered as Roger Sanchez’s Stealth, Michael Woods’ Diffused, Strictly Rhythm and Spinnin Records. Now with a release on Nicky Romero’s imprint Protocol Recordings and a fresh sound coming on Mutants Records Jesse Voorn is making sure his style is heard.

Acutely in tune with his audience, Jesse’s club focused sound displays obvious technical ability with a wide-ranging musical palette and an innate connection with the dancefloor to create DJ sets that suck the crowd in with him and take them on an immersive, engaging journey.

Jesse has weaved his way up dance music’s most notable charts from previous releases that have garnered the approval and support of big names in the genre. His music has consistently been supported by Nicky Romero, Roger Sanchez, Kaskade, Tiesto, Bob Sinclar, Paul van Dyk, David Guetta, Pete Tong, Fedde le Grand, Axwell and Chuckie to name just a few.

Jesse’s self titled radio show has been going strong for over ten years now and continues to be broadcast to over 25 different countries. Constantly developing his skills and evolving as an artist, Jesse Voorn looks set to continue spreading his musical manifesto far and wide for a long time still to come.
