After a year that saw him retain his crown of World #1 DJ for a second consecutive year, sweep in to dominate the festival landscape with colossal peak time performances everywhere from Future Music Festival in Australia to Tomorrowland's 10th anniversary edition in Belgium, as well as releasing his chart-dominating debut artist album United We Are, Hardwell also found the time to construct yet another dancefloor thriller, this time with his remix of Calvin Harris's satiable hit 'Outside'.

Stomping arpeggios followed by spacious break-downs that allows for British starlet Ellie Goulding's soaring falsetto to take centre stage, Hardwell steers Calvin's pop gem into a direction of pure unadulterated dance, complete with big-room drops and  an infectiously heavy beat.

Receiving its live premiere at his #UnitedWeAre kick-off shows that sold-out Amsterdam's  colossal Ziggo Dome, demonstrating Hardwell's true ability as a highly-respected artist both on the live circuit and within the studio, this unique edit of 'Outside' has already been causing a stir across social media and throughout online forums over the weekend, rousing up excitement for its impending release after thousands tuned in to hear the official mastered version in the latest episode of Hardwell On Air.  

Hardwell's remix of 'Outside' is out now on Calvin Harris's Fly Eye Records exclusive to Beatport and will be available via iTunes March 16th.

Fresh off the back of his massive debut album ‘United We Are’, Dutch powerhouse and world’s #1 DJ  Hardwell is back with another festival-ready anthem, this time teaming up with fellow countryman Wiwek for something a little different in the shape of ‘Chameleon’.

Big, bouncy, and full of energy, ‘Chameleon’ is something of throwback for Hardwell, with a taste of his early work sitting comfortably alongside the electro house flavour offered up by Wiwek, who in turn steps out of his usual style and takes on a more progressive approach that is equally fresh and exciting.  Built around an infectiously catchy vocal sample that morphs its way through the track, ‘Chameleon’ is designed to put a smile on your face as well as a bounce in your step. It’s proof that dance music can be about having fun, while still remaining serious enough to groove along to, and is a testament to both Hardwell’s years of experience in the studio, and the up-and-coming talent of Wiwek. The powerful ‘Freedom’ by Chris Avantgarde is set to land on Size Records on June 29th. Having wowed fans during label boss Steve Angello’s Ultra Music Festival set in March this track has been in demand ever since and its official release will be welcomed by fans and critics alike.

Building ominously, the opening drum patterns are reminiscent of golden era 90’s big room house once joined by vocals and synth chords the track takes off. Punchy basslines intertwine with multiple layers to create an anthem capable of rocking any dance floor. 

Chris Avantgarde is an up and coming German producer who began his musical career as a Jazz pianist. Following a slew of new material amongst a celebratory summer, Axtone Records welcomes Swedish act, Gazlind to the catalogue with their remix of Deniz Koyu’s 2014 single, ‘To The Sun’.
