WAYU Records conjures ritualistic resonance with its next release! As “Massemba’s" chief contributors, Kellie Sakkaku bring their talents to South Beach all the way from Greece. The EP's blend of Latin, Caribbean and “Afro-Tek” sounds provides vast inspiration for a pair of remixers. Accompanying Bespoke Musik’s Baez, MOONTIDE produces a take reminiscent of his Colombian homeland. Now firmly entrenched “Down Under,” the hybrid live act draws influence not only from the Andes but also “water as a motif for the collective healing of the planet and soul.” Using spoken word and playful, downtempo instrumentation, the MOONTIDE remix cascades just like the life-giving liquid.
