'The eager cyclist and highly gifted Brazilian artist Vini Pistori is back on Dantze. This time his luggage contains three super strong tracks. Wolf Ear & Fassbender make their RKP label debut with the lone interpretation of ‘Strange Lights’. Hailing from Canada and Germany respectively, Wolf Ear & Fassbender have been paired together as occasional studio partners since 2020. 

Releases via Wolf Ear’s Strange Town Recordings imprint solidified the duo’s creative synergy, blurring the borders between progressive and melodic house, and in turn earning the praise of the progressive fraternity’s top tastemakers. 

Subsequent projects via Dreaming Awake and Mango Alley would also land with a resounding thump, the most recent of which was a August of 2025 with thier remix of ‘As We Rise’ by Ghostpipes. 

Now, taking centerstage for the RKP faithful, Wolf Ear & Fassbender make an impressive label debut with a stellar rendition of ‘Strange Lights’. Opting for a subversive approach, Wolf Ear & Fassbender deconstruct the main elements over a traditional progressive framework. Always creative remixers, it’s a Berlin-inspired melodic lead which ultimately takes centrestage, fully saturating your pleasure centres, as robotized vocals steal the air across a melancholic finale.
