Next up, We welcome Heavy Footer for the latest edition of our mix series.
Heavy Footer has been someone we've had in mind to book since the inception of Proxima Frequencies. 
Unrestricted or bound by genre, Heavy Footer's unique take to DJing has found her teamed up with the Pelican Villa crew, having provided their dance floors with everything from silky dnb selections to deep and dirty club cuts. 
We really didn't know what to expect when she provided us with this piece, all we really knew was that it would be truly special. 

With a love for powerful basslines, ethnic instruments and long musical journeys, Heavy Footer enjoys taking her listeners through a spectrum of genres. 
Originally from the UK, she made her name playing around Melbourne's underground scene of clubs and festivals. 
This 2 hour mix, consisting of deep and melodic house, is inspired by the wild and unpredictable forces of nature - forests, mountains, deserts, the stars...

I'm Jack, a producer from Melbourne, Australia.
I've been making all kinds of tunes in my bedroom for getting close to a decade now.
I'd like to say i'm genre-less but for the most part i've been releasing on psychedelic techno/bush prog labels.
I’m very thankful I chose the path of production, being able to express parts of my life through an audible format has not only been a wonderful therapeutic process but highly enriching for my experience in life.
I care very deeply for authenticity within the creative arts and strive to be heard in such a way, this music is ultimately for me.
I hope to one day share with the world an album of all the secret expressions I've got hidden away, there's so much soul there but i am not ready just yet.
For now enjoy the teckaz :)
