A very dear friend that has been with us long before the beginning, An inspiration to us as a whole and of course one of our favourite features at any event we hold.

Fine China is a young, charismatic and energetic soul fresh out of the eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
Called to the party much younger than he was allowed to be there and prone to annoying his older friends staying up later at all the kick ons, he was not supposed to be at.
A curator of beats, a smooth mixer with his fancy finger work, and a true lover of all music. His favourite genre’s range from jazz, rap, and the occasional Dua Lipa song. His favourite place to be is behind the decks focusing on house and will take any opportunity to experiment with new sounds. Anything chuggy with a quirky element, like him, is his style. 
The venues he frequents in Melbourne range from Revs, 161, Pawn & Co, Tramp, Brown Alley, Circus, Beyond the Palms, Lucky Coq and is a resident at Sooki Lounge which he is proud to call home.

We're thankful for Sean and his craft, a very valuable gem amongst the crowd here in Prox.

Emerging from the heart of Melbourne's subterranean music culture, Jack Smart is a diverse electronic artist fusing hypnotic psychedelia, cinematic progressions, and groove-heavy minimal techno. 

With releases on Digital Structures, Soupherb Records, KOSMOS, Alpaka Muzik and Frisson, Jack has garnered international support from tastemakers such as John 00 Flemming and Kaufmann. Jack’s sound bridges the gap between peak-hour bush energy and deep, introspective club journeys. Aimed at global dance floors, Jack’s live sets are immersive stories, built for both heady listeners and movement seekers. 

With a distinct sonic identity and growing global presence, he continues to carve a space where psychedelia meets groove in powerful, forward-thinking ways.

Techno // Melodic // Driving

With his passion for music cemented in from a young age, Dylan discovered the sound that has inspired him since in the wee hours of the morning of Rainbow Serpents market stage in 2012. 
It was then that he discovered the dark, melodic and heaving techno beats that has helped curve his taste in music. 

Through his journey in the ever evolving and deepening music scene; Dylan plays under the alias of ‘Lowtep’ and blends a mixture of emotive darker, driving techno with the Melbourne collective of ‘Capture’. He also mixes it up from time to time with a funky and heavier tech house vibe alongside another Melbourne crew known as ‘Rewired Rhythms’. 
During these escapades it has seen him play venues such as Revolver Upstairs, My Aeon, New Guernica, DaHa Bar, Lucky Coq and internationally at Grand Cafe and Stevie’s in Lagos, Portugal. 

From melodic breaks and bushy, chugging bass; combined with a mixture of dark, ethereal and emotional tones. Experience what Lowtep has to offer.

JEFFERS takes listeners on a unique ride with seductive yet eerie, driving and grooving sounds. He delves into multiple genres, crafting versatile sets from Dark Disco, Tribal/Organic House, Melodic, Minimal and Psychedelic Techno. His sets are unpredictable keeping the dancefloor on their toes!

His now been playing major festivals around Australia including Elements, Esoteric, New Dawn and Wild Horses Festival. Showing his versatility as a Dj closing out the Elemental stage at Elements festival with organic/psychedelic mid tempo set while also playing a peak time psychedelic techno set warming up for Electrypnose at Wild Horses Festival, showing his bpm range for has no boundaries. 

With a bunch of his own productions in the works, and some more milestone gigs on the horizon, including some interstate and international gigs. Excited to see what’s next for JEFFERS

An amalgamation of lush and delicate elements with driving & grooving details characterise both his productions and sets, tied together by influence of the captivating Australian festival sound. 

One of the longest standing residents at Sooki Lounge, Connor has soundtracked evenings at Belgrave's house & techno landmark for the last 8 years.  

His near decade-long stint behind the wheels has seen him play at some of Victoria's finest establishments such as Revolver Upstairs, My Aeon & XE54 where he's been given the opportunity to warm up for many esteemed international & local headliners.
