This week we are honored to welcome 'COOkie' on for our 50th edition of intercepts. A well known name in the Australian dance scene as both an artist and event organiser.  

COOKie (Andrew Cook) has been in and around the Melbourne dance music scene for just under 20 years. As a DJ he has performed at almost all major clubs still standing and also played at many outdoor events and festivals with the highlights being Afrikaburn and Rainbow Serpent Festival. COOKie now runs Morning After Agency, which has just celebrated it’s 5th year of touring & representing Domestic & International artists as well as running club and outdoor events Including the annual event The Enchanted Garden Party.
2021 looks to be promising year for COOKie and Morning After with the launch of a multi day camping festival scheduled for April called Interstellar Groove Festival.

We love what COOkie and the Morning After crew are doing for the Australian dance scene and we can't wait to work with them in the future.

PSY:TECH 49 126bpm 🌀 Psychedelic Techno (Anyer Quantum, Children of Mu, Dark Mode, L-XIR, Trilingo)

There's a lot of back story to this particular release, but we will keep it succinct for the sake of clarity. To say we've been fans of Vincent Courcot's many musical aliases over the years would be underselling it, to say the least. This dynamic France-based producer and composer has been at the absolute top of the game, no matter the genre. With his recent incarnation as VØSNE, Vincent delights his listeners to a dynamic range of deep, dubby and melodic techno, drenched in delicious analog FX, with an organic and improvised feel.

With the appropriately-named title track 'Hypnotherapy', we take a trip down memory lane to the more hypnotic tech-trance leaning side of this maestro's output, as fans of Tetraktys will readily attest. The collaborative b-side with Clutch takes things into more progressive tech-house territory, reminiscent of his Motion and Solead projects, all in a stunningly contemporary package. We hope you enjoy 'Hypnotherapy', a dance-floor tested release from one of the true great electronic artists of our time.

I played upstairs  1:30am-3:00am Going through multiple areas from Tribal and progressive Techno, into some bush tech and proper techno and finishing with some proggy melodic trancier tracks.
