Christopher (Kris) Cherry is a New York City native who studied at Pace University with a concentration in BFA Musical Theater. He now seeks to flip the word "genre" on its ahead and create a new style of music of his own. 

iiiMPERiAL is a hip-hop group based out of Sarasota Florida founded in 2018. iiiMPERiAL is a blend of “ Golden Age” Hip-Hop with new flair and energy. The three members (Swerv the Hooligan, Tre Godfella, and Sidney. ) all have individual mixtapes and EPs and are currently working on their debut project called iiiMPERiAL-STYLES produced by hip-hop producer/artist, Forenzik Styles. 

Group members, Swerv the Hooligan and Tre Godfella attended high school together where their love for hip-hop created a special bond. They began to make music together as a duo and released their first song, “Insidious Tactics”. Both members went on to release their own individual projects; Contradictions to my Diction, by Swerv the Hooligan and Dysfunctional Adolescent, by Tre Godfella. 

The youngest emcee , Sidney. became friends with the members when they saw him perform at a showcase Swerv was participating in. Tre’s younger brother always told them about a young aspiring artist that can match their MC skill set and that happened to be the artist they met at the showcase. The three artists meshed their personalities together and became the Rap trio iiiMPERiAL.

The group’s first song together “Where the Party at?” was featured on Sidney.’s project Da Viiibes and is a crowd favorite when performing live. iiiMPERiAL performs at local shows, colleges, and showcases The trio opened up for Hip-Hop legend, KRS-1 in 2019. Later that year the group won the “State 2 State Battles” performance competition host by battle rappers, Arsonal and Charlie Clips. iiiMPERiAL’s debut single “WESTSIDE TERROR” prod. by Forenzik Styles is featured on Benny the Butcher’s, Who Can Rap? Vol. 7 mixtape.
