This is an eclectic mix that I've definitely spent more time on than any previous music project I've ever done tenfold. The amount of weeks I've put into collecting samples, picking songs, and arranging in various programs is something I previously thought I wouldn't have the patience to do and actually pull off in a way that I felt satisfied with. In my head, I consider it my first official mix.

It's also something that has shown me I really, truly am not able to follow genre guidelines and present a compilation of songs that are apart of too strict of a "genre". This mix is Classic Rock,  Glitch Hop, Ghettofunk, Jazz, Oldskool Funk and Hip Hop, among others, and the influences are broad and contradictory.

Many thanks and props to Fort Knox Five, the Dancefloor Outlaws, and anyone in the UK Ghetto funk scene (ghettofunk.co.uk) for bringing so many versatile elements to so many different tracks.  This is the first time I can say a mix I've made is up to par with what I've wanted to put out. Also DJ Scallywag, my hero, who is the first one I personally started listening to that mashed genres up however he wanted.

Over 350 individual samples from music, movies, and audio books span throughout the mix, which is where the title comes from.
