In a way, I am going to be upset with you. Because I always see the "toy" keyboards at the thrift store.. and you are showing me the enlightenment for these ugly treasures.. But I cannot afford the space in my house even though I may want them. :P

CASIO-CORE / lo-fi / micromusic made in 07.2015: my first casio-core in 5 years! Ha! No sequencer used. Generally - no additional sound-effects used. I use raw original sound of toy-keyboards.

This song has been made with CASIO MA-150 toy-keyboard. It is a relatively new toy-keyboard but its sound is SOOOOO lo-fi that even I have problems withstanding it, haha. Unlike classic CASIOs from 80s, this one has no sound-effects at all (like, I don't know, shots, lasers, car horns - nothing), so for the sound FX I added some echoes and stuff. But only for those.

Well, after 5 years my hands (and brain) got rusty but I was torturing this song for two days, to make it better. :)

The project has been established in 2005 to play lo-fi / casio-core / micromusic stuff. 

The music initially was supposed to be played only on YAMAHA PSS-270 keyboard - a small toy for children.


Finally I decided to use as many toy-keyboards as possible. For now I have toys such as:

I don't use any sequencers. I play everything "from hand" and mix it on COOL EDIT Pro. I treasure the original totally plastic and synthetic sound of the toys, so I almost don't add any post-production effects; rarely I add some reverb/delay but you can state it's their original sound. But I permit, I will use some sound-modifications in future, when I get bored with still the same instruments. :)


My music is inspired by steam-punk, small old mechanical devices, horror-cabaret/horror-circus atmosphere, Doctor Who mood, and classic-electronica musicians, like Jean-Michel
Jarre, Marek Bilinski, Vangelis, Andrzej Szymalski, Kraftwerk, Roman Wiercinski (Cyborg)...
