Introducing Stoned Ape Theory. Forged between two sonic brothers known best by their psytrance aliases Beyond Senses and SIDETRKT, Stoned Ape Theory is their exploration of hefty bush techno.

Stone Seed was a catalyst in the formation of the project with both solo artists remixing Käse Kochen for the label in the last 18 months, during which time they dipped their toes in our genre sphere. Now their first official release has landed in the form of a remix for Rainbird, taking the lush sounds of his 2023 hit First Contact and molding it into a thick dancefloor focused track.

Joachim Spieth teases his forthcoming album "Retrace" with the release of the album opener, "Recall," accompanied by a wonderfully dubby, dance-floor-friendly remix from the producer well-known within our community, Luigi Tozzi. 
While Spieth keeps things in a laid-back "sofa surfer" mode with deep, ambient, and dub-tinged atmospheres, Luigi Tozzi's remix expands the dub side of "Recall" into a proper dancefloor groover whose stabs simply envelope a listener like a spider web. 
Spieth and Tozzi, two of techno's distinguished artists, join forces and deliver a creme de la creme dub techno release. This is a great introduction to Joachim Spieth's forthcoming album, "Retrace," due in October. 
The single "Recall" with Luigi Tozzi's remix is coming out on September 6.

Nik Matern is an electronic music producer and dj, founder of Plankton Repellent label, pioneer of dark minimal genre. He is known under various aliases, each devoted to a different genre. Planctophob is one of Matern's main projects, which was created in 2012. According to the main idea, "Planctophob" is a person who's only fear is becoming an aimlessly, desultory existing part of drifting mass. Planctophob is not just a separate person. It's a form of thinking, a manifestation of will and awareness, an instrument of conscious intention. Being Planctophob means avoiding the pointlessness of existing.

The Rotating LP is Planctophob’s new musical offering, which consists of 11 interconnection tracks. Each track is inspired by a distinct main belt asteroid and is designed to be enjoyed individually or merged flawlessly with the adjacent tracks. Beginning with ambient tones, the album transitions into Planctophob's distinctive dark minimal sound before evolving into a dynamic fusion of deep and fast techno melodies.
The album's theme is a poetic exploration of the cosmos, where the asteroid belt serves as a symbol of the relentless rhythm that pervades the universe. Every asteroid, a microscopic reminder of cosmic creation, carries with it a saga of chaos and order, of fiery genesis and silent dissolution. Their gravitational ballet is a testament to the intricate patterns that underpin the fabric of space-time — a fractal dance of circles within circles.

Planctophob masterfully translates these cosmic musings into a sonic voyage, representing the asteroids' orbits as the cyclical pursuit of understanding. This album resonates with the universal human quest for truth, reminding us that amidst the chaos, we are part of a grand, interconnected cosmic narrative of birth, growth and transformation. There is an underlying order, a symphony of motion that speaks to the very heart of creation.
In summary, Rotating by Planctophob touches upon themes of creation and destruction, order and chaos, life and death, the infinite and the finite and the quest for meaning and understanding. It serves as a profound metaphor for the human condition, encapsulating our desire to find patterns and make sense of the ever-changing, interconnected fabric of existence.

Reverse Rituals VA (Compiled by Haptic) Reverse Rituals is a conceptual compilation created in reverse as part of a creative process/experiment in the creative process. Initiated with the creation of the track titles and artwork, each producer was provided with a short video, who then used the artwork and video as their inspiration to create the tracks they felt suit the imagery and title. Each set of conceptual artwork and video was assigned to two producers, delivering two versions of each track, and eight tracks in total. Our resident shamanic monster Haptic was heavily involved in development of the titles, the artworks, the videos and consulted throughout the process, in additional creating a unique pack of 20 ritual-based samples that the producers were encouraged to use in their tracks. Reverse Rituals is here to cast spells over your dancefloor.
