Italian DJ CHILD_OS made his New Year’s Eve mix especially for radiOzora.

Nico aka Child_OS is an Italian DJ born in Sardinia and based in Rome.
He is part of the WAO Festival organization and of the Free Spirit Foundation team, actively working in the management of Shanti!, the largest monthly psytrance event in the Italian capital city.

Child_OS has been keeping defining and evolving in his sets, always ranging his soundscapes in twisted and dynamic underground psytrance.

Raised in the industrial/noise scene, he began spinning powernoise and industrial techno at Roman parties in 2006. In 2007 he fell in love with psytrance, and began incorporating it into his sets. Moving totally into the genre in 2008, he joined Global Noise Movement – a German DJ team based in Leipzig. He finally joined Free Spirit Foundation in 2010 and got deeply involved in the Roman and Italian psytrance scene both as a DJ and event manager.

Nico is also a very active member of the WAO Festival organization.

WAO (We Are One) is the youngest international psytrance gathering in Italy. Here the finest psychedelic music and art meet the principles of eco-architecture and permaculture in an organic experience within the breathtaking landscape of Monte Peglia, near Orvieto (Central Italy).

He has played played as a guest DJ at various clubs, squats, psy parties and festivals around Italy, such as Shanti!, Kali Yuga, WAO Festival, Human Evolution Festival, LiberEuforie, Zoom Club, Massive, Nuit de Sade, Decadence, Villaggio Globale, Alien, Big Bang, Linux and so on, as well as in Europe at Wave Gotik Treffen festival (Leipzig), Slimelight (London), Biomechanik (Berlin) and more.
