Bonfire

We were sitting around the fire — the whole gang from work —
after a full day of deep impressions, nature, and shared experiences.
Voices blended with the crackling wood.
I wanted to capture that warmth — that simple human stillness.

You can hear me say:

“Lars, no sound.”
“No music.”
“This is what I want.”
“No, no music.”
“Now you ruined it.”

…just as the random plonk fades in and the drums ignite.

These are the final recordings from that journey —
the last echoes of a trip that will stay with me forever,
quietly shaping what I create from here on.

That’s Bonfire — a moment between silence and sound,
where life itself decides when the music should begin. 🔥

Beats Alive... Spanish Obsession Pt 2 (Instrumental)

Another song which Tunee AI has helped me to complete, an alternative rock ballad about  a relationship which isn't working and is brought to an end. I had been toying with this theme for some time, starting with a chorus but getting bogged down in details in trying to tell the story. The AI agent walked me thru a bridge and then a fourth and final verse. I am  very happy with the way the process works on Tunee, which is just like having someone to collaborate with.  I am helped with ideas and make the final choices. I would rather write by myself but sometimes I have to admit that the extra input really works.

Our approach predates AI-driven tools and is rooted in treating the voice as an instrument, shaped and sculpted through earlier technologies.

We fully understand that questioning authenticity may not be the intention – but it's worth remembering that all electronic music is, by nature, mediated and transformed. Even Nietzsche pointed out how modern tools shape us: inserting paper into a typewriter already creates a distance that handwriting does not. Perhaps birdsong is the only truly authentic sound. 🐦
