About this journey:
This journey was recorded live in Turin, Italy, on 13th May 2024.
Thanks to an exceptional planetary alignment, on that occasion Chalanga shared the stage with 2 guests of excellence such as Nicola Meloni from Rhabdomantic Orchestra on Moog and Hydra synthetizers and brazilian percussionist Gilson Silveira on vocals and percussions.
The results was something unique and magic: a live band playing mostly Chalanga’s unreleased tracks:
some remixes and some free edits inspired by italian artists such as Matia Bazar, Lucio Battisti, Goblin and Loredana Bertè.

About Chalanga:
Chalanga is an italian duo composed by DJ and producer Patrick Di Stefano and multi-instrumentalist Diego Grassedonio.
Analog synths, percussions, drum machines and loops on sax and flute are the ingredients mixed by Chalanga during their live performances and studio productions characterized by organic house, world music, electronic beats, afro-futuristic patterns, psychedelic visions, exotic percussions and the
shamanic presence of the saxophone. 
The first frequencies transmitted by Chalanga have been intercepted by the Shipibo tribes of the
Peruvian Amazon and by the Yakuts tribes of eastern Siberia.

En Peregrinos del Timbre, cada canción es elegida como un eslabón de un viaje sonoro que busca la armonía perfecta entre los timbres. Este recorrido no solo explora ritmos y melodías, sino también las texturas y matices que resuenan en cada mezcla. La búsqueda del timbre es el hilo conductor, un puente que conecta culturas, emociones y paisajes sonoros, creando una experiencia que fluye con naturalidad y profundidad finalmente este DJ Set explora la conexión entre lo colectivo y lo personal, reflejando los desafíos y transformaciones. Desde sus inicios, Tierra Profunda ha buscado transmitir amor, gratitud junto
con emociones profundas a través de la música. En tres años, este proyecto ha crecido como una raíz que explora nuevos territorios, entrelazando sonidos
electrónicos con ritmos orgánicos, étnicos y downtempo que invitan a viajar
más allá de lo cotidiano.
Fundado por dos coleccionistas de música y Djs con más de dos décadas de
pasión por la electrónica ninu-nanu, y chamar240 Tierra Profunda es un
puente entre vivencias, continentes . Inspirados por sus viajes y experiencias

This mixtape is about search/research of authentic sounds/rhythms & their combination. I was inspired by the culture of South America & the art/works presented on the Tchamma Yapu label. Some of them you can find in the recording 😉

From time to time I use different approaches in the mixtapes recording process... Sometimes I prepare a turnkey mix, I think through every track, their sequence, even the mixing points & techniques that I will use. Sometimes I use pure freestyle/improvisation, the maximum I know in advance what the first track will be, the rest born in the process, the flow happens by itself naturally...

Speaking about this mix... It turned out that the truth lies somewhere in the middle... I chose the first and last tracks in advance, prepared together the base/body of the mix from +-10 tracks, pressed the record button and started on a journey 🙂

 The result is 〰️100 min storytelling with elements of downtempo, tribal, ethnic, organic, chillrave, ketapop & many more...

I wish every seeker to have fun while exploring the soundscape of this session ❤

Robin Bauer, known as Psyrob, has been an integral part of the Goa scene since 2012, deeply captivated by the spirit of love and community found at its events. Initially, his focus was exclusively on Goa Trance subgenres until 2018, meticulously honing his mixing skills within this specific realm.
From 2018 onwards, Psyrob embarked on a journey of musical exploration, embracing an open-ended style that transcends specific genres. His ambition is to craft profound musical journeys and deliver messages that resonate directly with the listener's heart.
A significant spiritual turning point at the end of 2019 continues to profoundly influence his artistic expression. Psyrob wholeheartedly embraces the technological advancements of the Aquarian Age, channeling his creative energy into his music with the aim of connecting with a broader audience.
Currently, Psyrob is dedicating his talents to downtempo projects. He excels at creating live mash-ups, seamlessly blending diverse genres without limitation.
