Thank you to everyone who was there dancing on my very first live set <3

The last months were challenging to say the least, with struggles, doubts, technical issues along the way. But the reward is beyond my expectations. 

Some of you probably saw me burst into tears afterwards (I chose my name wisely apparently). Not only because I did it, but also because I was supported and surrounded by my closest friends and beloved ones. 

I want to thank the Extravaganza team & Ketoga crew for their trust as they gave me this opportunity to express myself with music in a new way. I couldn't have wished for a better event that Fusion for it.

I will remember this day my whole life.

Frische Töne umhüllt von Wiener Schmäh aus Süd-Ost wehen herauf, Vienna is calling! Mit dem neuen Traumcast von Matahari und Volker Arnold freuen wir uns wie ein Wiener Vegi-Schnitzel über den Besuch aus dem Hause @journeytotarab. Mit einer grazilen Feinfühligkeit im Thema Musikauswahl, nehmen die beiden uns im neuen Traumcast mit auf eine Reise, deren Ziel der Weg ist. Oder war das andersherum? Mal rein hören. Viel Spaß! Noch 3 schnelle Fragen an die beiden:

what a wonderful festival you all (guests/crew/artist) created there - amazing! This is my recording from saturday 5-7pm - imperfect, partly improvised play order and some quirks here and there - but I hope you like it anyways (at least the people danced to it during the rain <3). Liebe Zugvögel,
was ein wunderbares Festival ihr alle (Gäste/Veranstalter/Künstler) da mal wieder auf die Beine gestellt habt - wow :) Hatte sehr viel Spaß dabei, für euch bei einer wilden Mischung aus Regen, Regen und ein bisschen weniger Regen (+ 5 kurzen Sonnenstrahlen am Anfang des Sets) spielen zu dürfen - schön, dass ihr alle mit mir ausgeharrt habt.

Das Set an sich ist wahrlich nicht perfekt (hab mich doch des öfteren mal verspielt) und ich musste auch irgendwann meine eingeübte Komfortzone verlassen, um die zum Wetter passenden unfertigen Edits irgendwie noch unterbringen zu können - aber Anscheinend hat es ja trotzdem Spaß gemacht <3
Vielen Lieben Dank an alle, die mitgeholfen haben, dieses Festival auf die Beine zu stellen, an alle die die gute Laune trotz der widrigen Bedingungen nicht verloren haben (an die andern aber natürlich auch ;)) und all die tollen Menschen, die ich kennenlernen durfte und mit denen ich das Festival verbracht habe! Ahoy und Moyn an alle Froybeuter*innen! 

Wir sind zurückgesegelt aus den hedonistischen Freigewässern des geliebten Backsbergs und könnten glücklicher kaum sein. Ein Wochenende für Herz, Seele und die Bücher liegt hinter uns und wir senden Tausend Danke und Umarmungen an alle Menschen, die mit uns getanzt und gelacht haben, Schabernack trieben und für so unendlich vielen sozialen Sonnenschein gesorgt haben ❤️
Im Gepäck haben wir natürlich auch die Aufnahme unseres nächtlichen Hilde-Ritts. Bevor uns allen also das kapitalistische Trübwasser des Alltags wieder bis ans Kinn drückt, ganz schnell auf SoundCloud und einfach nochmal Leinen los!

MaKa & Otto Schillerd I Moyn Festival 23 I M(W)ilde Hilde

Ok Moyn Moyn you got our hearts…. 

It was a really special show for us at Wilde Hilde. Since we usually get invited to play the early nights, around 18/19 o'clock we were surprised to play a total night show at the beautiful Wilde Hilde Stage. So this time we were asked to change the time slot with O/Y and Gunilla and spontaneously changed our Saturday afternoon slot to the Friday night slot at 23:00. And it just felt amazing. Seeing all the colorful, glittery dancing totems and all the dancing, happy faces in the lights of the fire and light show was totally magic. So far the biggest stage and craziest Festival experience for this year. 

Thanks to all the crazy dancers who accompanied us through the night and sorry for everybody who came to see us on Saturday and couldn’t find us. But anyway, the lineup at this stage was a total blast - really good music all over - from deep to bouncy, there was everything that our hearts could have wished for.

Pulli & Chomba @ Wilde Hilde - MOYN Festival 2023

Sooo wir sind nach nem kleinen Urlaub nach den wundervoll actionreichen 2 Wochen auf der Mystic Island auch endlich wieder in der Realitäh gelandet! 
Jetzt könntZ ihr nämlich auch das Set vom ersten Sonnenuntergang im Creatures Corner nachlauschen!

Dieses Set hat eine ganz besondere Bedeutung für uns, weil endlich die Gelegenheit gekommen ist, eine der mystischsten Melodien, die sich seit der Kindheit in Käpt'nZ Köpf mietfrei eingenistet hat und ihn jedes mal verzaubert hat, als Intro zu verwenden! 
Das und die Gelegenheit gleichzeitig den Tänzer:innen einen kleinen Teil der Geschichte meines Stage/Floordesigns zu vermitteln, indem die besagten Lichter und Geräte, die wir das Jahr über vorgebaut haben (wie das ding aufm cover) während dem Introprolog genau getimed eingeschaltet wurden - zwar nicht so detailliert wie gewünscht aber die Leute hatten zumindest mal ne kleine Vorstellung wie dat mit dem Arkanenergiekreislauf aufm Floor da funz'n'iert hehe - jedenfalls wurde da ein kleiner Traum wahr❤️

Danke an mein wundervolles Team, ohne die dieser Traum nicht wahr geworden wäre und an alle, die beim Abriss dabei waren, obwohl wir das hüttchen doch grad erst aufgebaut haben höhö😛

Die Geschichte geht bestümmpt weiter (einen kleinen Hinweis gibts am Ende auch schon -> die Person, die es als erstes errät, ergattert nächstes Jahr eine kleine sürprise à la 12)😉

Weelll after a little vacation after the wonderful action-packed 2 weeks on the Mystic Island we also finally got back to the realitäh! 
and now you can also listen to the set of the first sunset in Creatures Corner!

This set has a very special meaning for us, because finally the opportunity has come to use one of the most mystical melodies as an intro, which has lived rent-free in Käpt'nZ head since his childhood and has enchanted him every time! 
That and the opportunity to explain the dancers a little part of the "storyline"  of my stage/floor design by turning on the lights and devices we've been building all year (like that thing on the cover) exactly timed during the intro prologue - not as detailed as I woulkd have loved to but at least the people had a little idea how the arcane energy circuit on the floor works hehe - anyway a little dream came true❤️

Thanks to my wonderful team, without which this dream would not have come true and to all who were there wobbling with their legs höhö😛 

To be continued... (there's already even a little hint at the end -> the person who guesses it first, gets a small sürprise à la 12 next year)😉

Here is the recording of my latest Kater Blau set. Thanks to everyone who was there, I had so much fun dancing and sharing music with you, and still feel super greatful for your lovely feedbacks after the set 🫶
It was an honor to play again at the Acid Bogen Floor, thanks to the Kater Blau crew for the invitation & for beeing so supportive and making me feel immediately comfortable. 

I hope you can enjoy  it ; little spoiler, personly favorite part of the set from 1h15, with a change of mood

Dear Berliners (and all other people in the world),

thanks for making this night in Beate Uwe so nice and special! The Beate was really full from the beginning on and it was very nice to catch that energy at 4:30 after the incredible @seniorcitizen_wav. Lot's of love goes out to @downvienna for creating that party and all the great artists who joined them: @deepandi, @thisisrakaethe, @schnuppo, @seniorcitizen_wav and @marliblue_sofyah <3! 

This is set is very raw and includes both fresh tunes (including a special down party intro ;)), tunes I play regularly and some old tunes I almost never play, so I hope it is not getting boring :). After an hour of playing my Maschine got mad, so there maybe some quirks here and there (and no live drumming in the end :-I).

We probably don't need to say much about the next artist in our beloved down. cast series, as her sound speaks volumes and should be familiar to any downtempo aficionado by now.

Of course, we're talking about @frida-darko, who for years has consistently delivered fantastic and carefully curated sound.

Being a part of the @rebelliondertraumer and @station-endlos-halle crews and having launched her own label project @tipping-point-music in recent months, one can always be curious what this versatile artist has in store for us next.

We're all the more thrilled to have her now as part of our series as well and wish you all a great time with the upcoming mix.
