Each artist involved was asked to represent their Sonic Idea of a Vortex, resulting in a selection of tracks different in sound but connected by the same concept.

Like different paths of the same labyrinth,
all converging in a common end.

Soma proudly present a very special label debut from berlin based Modig with his Latissimus EP; 3 powerful and dangerous dance floor weapons backed with a fearsome Blawan remix. Resident at festivals & clubs in his home of Berlin, Modig has been hard at work in his fully analogue studio whipping up pure, raw Techno showcasing what is sure to be a talent of the future. 

UK don Blawan opens the EP with his interpretation of title track Latissimus. His unique, funding sound is prevalent from the outset as he turns in a proper jacked up and furious rendering. The Way It Breaks is a fast paced, stripped down dance floor pounder. Simple yet effective drums and rhythms lead the way as  pads create the depth. The original version of Latissimus opens the flip side with it’s beautiful yet haunting pads atop hypnotic, grimey vocal slices and jacking beats. Pikes closes out the release with its caustic rhythms and looped out beats creating a real driving and percussive laden track.

Hozho is back with the first solo album of his career. Since the last album produced with Black Hertz in 2017 (Beyond the Horizon), the unique musical style of the Portuguese producer has evolved quite a lot aesthetically, with more minimalist details and a smarter composition. Yin Yang is the result of the perfect balance between dark power synths, basslines and harmonious melodies, with vocal elements that make us fly while we dance throughout the tracks, proving that Melodark Minimal is here to stay!

Ostalgia is Rhys Fulber’s second album for Sonic Groove following the success of last year’s Your Dystopia, My Utopia. Like its predecessor, it continues his interest in pushing new boundaries in industrial techno, with kicks and bass lines woven together with clinical precision to cause intense speaker pressure, and atmos- pheric synth lines that will dig deep inside your mind. The title and the original socialist realism mural on the cover refer to Ostalgie - a romantic nostalgia for the old but comforting ways of Communist East Germany - and a yearning for rigid systems after progression into the future has led to chaos and uncertainty.

While the music on Ostalgia is at times a reflection of that chaos and uncertainty, it also refers to Rhys further exploring his Germanic ance- stry. And although the sledgehammer beats of 12 Steppes and Fission evo- ke Rhys’ previous work with industrial pioneers Front Line Assembly, he is not simply paying homage to his past musical escapades here. This is forward-looking music, not content with resting on any past ideologies.

Vily Vinilo joins the Evolvement family with a blistering two-track EP called 'Senescence'.

His unique alchemy of melodic, techno and rave has seen him become one of the breakout stars of 2020 with massive releases with label such as Mavic Music , Sphere Records.... and ensured he's stayed firmly on the radar of TekanimTheory.

The EP combines with Techno rhythms and Acid basslines which have been designed to both listeners and DJ's. The EP includes two originals and two massive remixes by Juan Ddd and Dr.Needles.

'Senescence' leads us to hypnotic vocals , effective percussion's , emphatic drums and melodies with dark and light sound of unforgettable dancing with universal love.

'Biological Annihilation' takes the listeners on a adventure of uplifting feelings that wind and bend around organic sounds , Arps , silky synthesizers , and waves of atmosphere.
It begins with an awakening a step into the unknown, and continue to realization that the Biological Annihilation and Senescence, is a co-created lifelong mind-manifested trip which ultimately becomes the map for ecstatic illumination. The EP is the set and setting to just that.
