Ilya ViG brings us his debut Pulsar release called Pacilistrica, you might wonder what the word means, but it’s completely made up by Ilya that came to him one night in his dream. The track is a proper uplifting tune, building up with euphoric pads that brings us to an amazing lead melody that puts this track apart from others. The lead melody catches fast on us and will most likely stick in your head for some time as well.

The remix duty is handed to another new faces on the label, a trio of Polish guys going by the name Behind The Sunset brought a more clubbier feel to this track with big rolling snares, hard basslines and gritty sounds. This one will most likely be our DJ’s pick.

Pacilistrica

Airzoom & CJ SN return to Pulsar Recordings with yet another emotional trancer. Innocent Scream starts off with a prelude full of magical sounds giving us an inside peek of what is about to come. The bass kicks in and we’re off for an amazing ride with our Azerbaijan guys. The female voice guides us into the track further, as it sets the tone for a stunning breakdown with fragile piano sounds. The main lead soon takes over and we’re once again flying off.

OBM Notion takes care of the remix by putting more accent on the leading synths layering them up for a bigger sounds. Yet that’s not all, the approach he decide to take in the breakdown works even more magical than in the original, giving it a more serene overall feel with those dreamy guitars and plucked synths that all dance together, bringing us higher and higher to a state of real trance euphoria.

Innocent Scream

Airzoom & CJ SN - Innocent Scream (Original Mix)

Skysha is ready to warm your souls yet again with his heart felt melodies, only this time he is being joined by the renowned Russian saxophonist Mikhail Morozov better known by the alias Syntheticsax. 

What the guys have prepared for you is simply beyond amazing. Skysha provided a solid basis for Mikhail to work on, as the track starts easy with the chilled intro and then the hard beats get us going. Musical droplets are introduced with a driving bassline that leads us straight into the breakdown that is safely kept for Mikhail’s saxophone magic. You need to hear it for yourself to hear what this guy is capable of doing, playing with his sax like it’s just a toy, giving us goosebumps all over our body… The track starts lifting us up and we’re up dancing all over again. Provided in this package is also a dub mix that includes a clean instrumental mix of Skysha’s work for everyone to enjoy, but we guess you already know which one is our personal favorite in this one.


Wandering Thoughts

We’re here once again to bring you the latest trance fix! This time we’re welcoming back one of our regulars, Ascania. His newest track ‘Trying To Disappear’ has a dark note to it from the very beginning, as we go deeper the track introduces us to a sublime synths that echoes in our head. In the breakdown a crying girl awaits for us who’s sorrow continues to ring in a form of a very beautiful but also at the same time very sad piano line; yet a very optimistic lead takes over slowly building up and giving us a hand of hope.

The remix comes from Polish guys Behind The Sunset with whom we already met in one of our previous releases. They transformed this track into a big room tune that can be dropped in a club of any size, the beats are heavy and greasy, something that will call everybody to get on the dance floor. The guys also kept the emotional breakdown we had in the original, but spicing it up with added choir voices and a new lead sound. After that the big drop takes over and bangs it up in style making you go frenzy.


Trying To Disappear

What a strange title to start with, ‘Three Headed Monkey’ by Oliver & Tom is the newest release on Pulsar Recordings. Strange or not, the monkeys are furious with fast rolling basslines, but the breakdown manages to calm them down with serene pads and misty piano lines. It doesn’t take long of before the introduction of the big leading synths that build up this tune to a proper uplifting trancer.

On remix side of this single we have a newcomer from Germany going by the alias Farzam. His version starts with hard kicks and chopped voice overs that together with newly introduced synths slowly shape up  into a proper uplifting tune. The breakdown features a more classical approach with mesmerizing strings that reveal the big saw sounds that continue building and layering up until the big drop hits us and takes us on journey far away.

XiJaro & Pitch is a name that is slowing starting to creep into the tracklist of the major players on the Trance scene. Their sound is so driving yet they still keep a lot of the emotion flowing throughout, so we are more than glad to have their 'In Silence', collaboration with Artifi.

XiJaro & Pitch's mix comes with an electric under laying bassline and huge square riff in the break. We are sure this is one Trancer that will get plenty of rotation throughout the Spring. For a perfect peak time trancer, we are also treated to an Artifi Mix where things get louder and more banging!

On the remix is one of favorite Soho duo currently, R.E.L.O.A.D mix. Here they keep the pace of the original mixes but adding a rawer sound to proceedings, throwing in a few twists and turns on the way. Their take on the melody really does give the track a momentous feel. This is a cracking remix from another up and coming talent.

Sound Apparel is back. If you’re familiar with his productions, you would know what this means. This producer never fails to deliver the most tension-filled tracks, telling captivating stories through his music.

‘The End’ starts off with an emotional piano melody, but it quickly spins out of control into a dark and techy tune. And the abrupt pauses give the listener a feeling of being lost, confused: you know the song is going somewhere, but you don’t know where. Eventually, the synth rises and leads the way, giving the track a sense of direction, like a lost soul that has found its path. But just as it goes up, the synth falls back down. And the ensuing silence gets taken over by a melancholic melody that just lingers on, over the uplift and drop, continuing the feeling of being lost throughout the track. But Sound Apparel never leaves his listeners hanging. Towards the end, the synth pushes through in full force. Release at last… and calmness takes over.

Fragile Flame

‘Divided Kingdom’ by Sunset Heat, the latest release on Pulsar Recordings, is a powerful and emotional tune that will send the listeners on yet another trip into the world of trance.

This single is very energetic from the beginning, with a rolling bass that provides a slow build-up, leading into a repetitive, hypnotizing loop that moves steadily into the breakdown. From there, a beautiful piano melody continues the journey, with an orchestral accompaniment that provides an emotional backdrop, followed by an intense uplift that teases the listeners’ feelings.

Blue Tente's Uplifting Remix starts with a thinner texture compared to the original version, enabling the piano to take the lead at the beginning. But as the bass and melodic loop rise slowly, the sounds merge to turn this single into a classic uplifting tune.

The breakdown in this version is a lot more emotional, followed by a rapid uplift that leads right back to the soft, tranquil melody that lingers on till the very end.

In Alexis Mixail’s remix, the percussion builds up slowly, followed by a much faster melodic loop, and echoing sounds that pick up as the melody fades away.

This version is more progressive, with a slower tempo and a structure that strays away from the traditional shape of trance tracks.

‘Full On Acid’ the latest release on Pulsar Recordings by our well known producer Ikerya Project is a banging big room track with fat bass and acid hook lines that will get your groove on, on the dance floor.

Marian Closca, with whom we have met in one of our previous releases delivers a more tranquil and uplifting feel to this track, perfect for those dreamy heads that also crave for the big uplifting sound.

Neutronix made his version sound slightly faster with those rolling basslines and punchy kicks that just keep on building until you hear a breakdown with those epic trance pads that really stand out.

This is one of my favourite tracks of all time so i descided to make a remake of it :)

Deadmau5 - Strobe (Radio Edit) - [Change remake]

After making his Pulsar debut with a stellar EP earlier this year, Marian Closca returns with his ‘Skyscape’ project, bringing with him two more tracks that will undoubtedly take your mind on a journey into the world of trance.

The first tune, ‘Steam Traveller’, features a heavy bassline that fights its way with an acidic synth, both providing the backdrop for a light and breezy pad and echoing vocals. 

As the breakdown comes in, all sounds collapse, before they build tension as they slowly rise again, with an arpeggiated synth leading the way over the bass and kicks, till the song collapses once again, and yet again rises, making this tune a very fluctuating one full of questions and uncertainty.

‘Quantum Fighter’ is a more percussive and rhythmic track, with soft beats and claps playing around the bass before a heavy kick drops in, leading towards a build-up of the pads and melodic synth—both gaining momentum as they move higher and faster.

In the breakdown, the listeners are led into a beautiful, open air environment, where the sounds of tweeting birds and orchestral instruments take over their senses.

In an instant, the arpeggios come in, quickly rising towards the return of the kicks, before the sound of the drum disappears, and makes another return, teasing the listeners before making them lose themselves in the final drop.
