For our final release of 2023, we’re pleased to present the newest work from Boston based producer and close friend of The Rust, Maxfield – a 4-track uptempo EP titled Boondoggle. This release continues his testament to versatility, blending acoustic instrumentation with mechanical sound design – exemplifying the depth of his understanding of the craft through extraordinary musicality and creative mind. 

Maxfield's repertoire covers a wide range of grooves and emotional landscapes, and a formal release from the high-energy end of the spectrum is long overdue. Boondoggle draws inspiration not only from dance floor energy, but also from the world of animals and nature – the mind-crushing awesomeness of which is enough to send even the strongest of us into a verklempt tizzy.

Hailing from Perth, Australia, the stalwart songwriter and producer Eputty has made consistent strides across the last 4 years, zeroing in on a sound and style that features contemporary electronic influence and an extremely pronounced compositional gait.
