The Rotterdam-based label and agency On Board Music proudly marks its 10-year anniversary with a carefully curated compilation of likeminded artists. This milestone release showcases those who have shaped the label's sound and identity, while also setting the tone for the years to come. The collection traverses a diverse spectrum: from the immersive depths of Altinbas' atmospheric journey Submersion to the intricate, rhythmic craftsmanship of Polygonia's drum-workout Broken Temptation, and from GiGi FM's ethereal dub-techno exploration Maova and Dorisburg's percussive, Nordic-techno gem Sensorik. IAR377 - Ruman - The How Will Show Up

Both Giode and Marii discovered electronic music early on. Giode was drawn in by school disco lights and later won a DJ competition, leading to his first club gigs. Marii fell in love with raving in NYC in 2001, which inspired her to start DJing.
Their careers evolved over time—Giode began with progressive house in Denmark before focusing on techno in 2014, while Marii started with psytrance in 2005 and switched to techno in 2019. Giode has played in Denmark, Lithuania (ŪKAS, R-ŪKAS), and private festivals, while Marii has performed in the USA, UK, Canada, and across the Baltics.
While Giode co-founded ŪKAS and R-ŪKAS, Marii is also associated with these events. Their styles are distinct—Giode adapts his sound based on inspiration, while Marii favors deep, driving, hypnotic techno.
Music is essential to both: Giode sees it as a stimulant that aids focus and stress relief, while Marii views it as an escape and a creative outlet. Inspired by live sets, both push their craft forward—Marii finds confidence in performing, while Giode immerses himself in sound experiments.
Together, they continue to shape the underground scene, driven by passion and innovation.
