Caldera's mix is volcanic, true to form, simmering and vaporous in its first half before igniting in thunderous bloom in the second. "I wanted to craft something polyrhythmic and groovey while focusing on the idea of stretching time and slowing things down. I’ve been loving the resurgence of funky hard groove techno and wanted to make a mix with this sound in mind while slowing down a lot of the tracks (by 10/15 bpm at least). In general, I’ve been enjoying a s lower and more considered pace in my life and this mix has a bit of that. Stretched out rhythms with the long mix."

Welcoming Capiuz to our base clan! An experimental dance project of producer and performer Luca Favaro is based in Italy. His genre-merging production focuses on exploring rhythm and sound design in a club context. Often leaning towards live performances, Capiuz’s music takes the form of a heavy hitting outburst filled with heavy bass, breakcore progressions and granular textures. He is currently the host of a show on Radio Raheem and has published with Unizone, Over My Body and Early Reflex. As a programmer he’s developing max for live devices with HIDE Productions.⁠

Capiuz gives us a glimpse on the upcoming show: “The plan for this mix was to focus on a darker and more electric feel that I usually play, weaving it with some more experimental noise-oriented tracks. I feel that breaking up dancefloor rhythms with some harsh noise and evolving sounds is a great way to highlight the best aspects of each song.”

◆ CLM is introducing a new format to their catalogue - Resonance! For each installment in the series, two or more members of the @globalurlnation spontaneously bond and collaborate on a multi-track project, such as an EP or audiovisual piece.

◆ For the first edition, we warmly welcome POL100 & Cecco Meraviglia for Espiazione, a journey of soul purification and an exploration of mind-body dualism partly inspired by Dante’s Inferno. Thought and produced as music videos, it gathers the two Italian artists around a common project to be seen and heard.

∎ POL100 is an experimental sound artist and music producer based in Ferrara, Italy. Since 2014 under this moniker, he explores inner moods and states of being through the curation of sound details, absorption of audio stimuli, and deconstruction of various genres to shape them into a flow of sounds in perpetual evolution. His music is a sonic hot pot of ambient, bass breaks and abstract sounds with releases on labels such as Katharsis, Champ Libre, Bound Center, Du Coeur Records and more. 

∎ Cecco Meraviglia is a visual artist based in Treviso, Italy. Using digital art and graphic design, he developed a practice based on 3D manipulation and graphic languages, with great care given to details and the reappropriation of natural elements. Working with numerous media, artists, and institutions, he has created for Coeval Magazine, Vogue, fashion brands and music labels such as Universal or Warner.

Putivuelta es un colectivo de Bogotá integral al under en el capital. Nuestra segunda compilación, la Fundación Internacional de Fiesterxs, es una espiral percusiva de mutaciones del club basadas en variantes locales del tribal house, conocida como Guaracha, Aleteo y Zapateo. La compilación es una exploración de las experimentaciones modernas en la música de club tribal emergente, con un lineup de artistxs internacionales representadxs por Colombia, México, Argentina, Uruguay,  los Países Bajos, el Reino Unido y los Estados Unidos. La compilación presenta tres Guaracherxs: Andre E. Hoyos (Medellín), Yeison Martin (Bogotá), Ed Reyes (Estado de México), además de productores de música de club latine basadxs ​​en Internet que han creado sus propias interpretaciones de Guaracha.
