Franz Jäger started off with Dubstep and Drum 'n' Bass, before leaning into techno in 2016. His music is inspired by Troy Geary, Seba, as well as jazz, soul and the sound of nature. He now focusses on his interpretation of minimalistic and organic techno, filled with soundscapes. 

Since 2018, his music has been released on multiple labels, such as HAYES Collective, SYXT, New Rhythmics, MALöR Records, Warok Music and more. 

This podcast, just like his releases, is filled with interesting sounds and atmospheres.

Umfang (@umfang) is a music producer and DJ based in NYC. Focused on an affection for heavy records from the past, she has performed in clubs, institutions and festivals in over 20 countries including Berghain, Dekmantel, MoMa PS1, Southbank Centre London, Dimensions Festival Croatia. She frequently plays in NYC at Basement, Public records, and Paragon. In addition to DJing she has produced 6 albums. Known for amorphous, polyrhythmic soundscapes, she has scored for runway, art exhibitions, and dance performances. In 2014 Umfang cofounded artist agency and platform Discwoman which aimed to offset representational imbalances within the music industry. She founded a digital music label 'Thanks For Enlightening Me' in March 2020. Her work has been covered in The New Yorker, Forbes, FACT, i-D, NPR, Pitchfork, and Resident Advisor.

Regularly rocking the house at seminal German nights including ://aboutblank, the late Griessmuehle, Paloma and many more, Berlin-based DJ and BINÄR label owner PAREKA drops by our virtual office to serve up a frankly pumping two-hour sample of his own techno multiverse. All in on the chiselled breaks, haunting ostinatos and clinical warehouse destroyers, PAREKA has us walking the tightrope betwixt pure no-prisoner ruggedness, straight brutalist sound architecture and a further experimental spin stretching from dub techno to Birmingham-esque detours. Hold your breath and shut your eyes wide, for the ride promises to drill a serious hole in your head and rewire your brain circuits upside-down.
