Műhely is a label from Budapest, run by Adam Krasz, Normal Tamas, and Obwigszyh who been committed to driving the local scene with its emblematic rave parties, nights of euphoria, dance and sweat.

'VA2 - The Dig' represents the soundscape of Műhely’s previous releases so far. It's a constantly pulsating, hypnotic and industrial material, which focuses on the harder side of techno. The VA contains tracks produced by Műhely's inner and outer circle, their friends.

Műhely means workshop in Hungarian and 'VA2 - The Dig' reflects their industrial attitude to music and creation. That's why the compilation will be published on 1st of May, which is the day of celebrating work in Hungary. It'll be released on a limited series of cassettes and digitally.

From this release we premiere the track 'Dazwischen' by the Berlin-based Hybral. A track that develops as a fire ball, violently carrying away everything that appears on its way.  Fast-pace, driving techno with a vibrant, uplifting and cathartic atmosphere; the perfect prelude for the nights to come and that we have been longing for, for so long.

Acá se la devuelve con ruido, con peso, con cuerpo.

Este álbum aniversario reúne únicamente artistas sudamericanos que trabajan el techno industrial y el hard techno. El sonido es áspero, denso, físico: como la montaña, como el metal frío al amanecer, como el calor que quema al mediodía.

La imagen es un caballo.
No el caballo heroico ni domesticado para la postal, sino uno viejo, cansado, sabio. Hay experiencia, lealtad y un dolor que no pide lástima. Es el dolor de una historia marcada por el despojo, por lo que fue arrancado una y otra vez, pero también por la obstinación de seguir adelante.

Este álbum existe porque seguimos acá.

Tres años de Drox Trax no celebran el éxito: celebran la continuidad.
La capacidad de seguir creando en un contexto que te quiere dócil, silencioso o ausente.

Sudaka is not a pretty name.
It’s a loaded word, used to label, exclude, reduce.
Here, it is given back with noise, with weight, with a body.

This anniversary album brings together only South American artists working with industrial techno and hard techno. The sound is harsh, dense, physical: like the mountains, like cold metal at dawn, like the heat that burns at midday.

The image is a horse.
Not a heroic horse, not one tamed for a postcard, but an old, tired, wise one. There is experience, loyalty, and a pain that asks for no pity. It’s the pain of a history marked by dispossession, by what was taken away again and again, but also by the stubborn will to keep moving forward.

This album exists because we are still here.

Three years of Drox Trax do not celebrate success: they celebrate continuity.
The ability to keep creating in a context that wants you docile, silent, or absent.

Covering a wide range of sub-genres through it’s nine tracks, the VA takes the listener on a journey through the sounds of modern techno. The compilation releases on the 12th of February, 2021.

Talamh Records is a Dublin based nightlife media outlet and events project that is primarily focused on showcasing talented Irish Djs and producers. Having had great success thus far they've now branched out and formed a record label and Youtube channel under the name Talamh Records. 

We're delighted to showcase Erik Burka's 'Peach and Passionfruit' which is a superb showcase of raw, gritty experimental techno.
