This was commissioned in 2019 for an entire set of Eden's Aegis OST arranges but contact with the client was suddenly cut. I had a minute or so of it done already so I just wrapped it up recently.

I had the opportunity to represent the Chiptunes = WIN community during their month on Weekly Treats, and the result is my ode to caffeine-fueled productivity.  I had a ton of fun writing up this weird guy, and got to do a lot of experimenting with synth design and bassline writing. This is the result of my research on how to write songs with constraints similar to those of SEGA Genesis game soundtracks. A final boss battle theme specifically designed for one of the games I'm currently developing as a side-project(a shmup, obviously), and also a love letter to the "Justice Ray" tracks (part 1 to 5) by Hyakutaro Tsukumo.

The beginning of that song perfectly summarizes how i felt the whole week up until march 26th. That day was also my birthday - though i wasn't feeling well, and was alone at home.

Something happened at least a week ago before that day, and i was very anxious because of that.

Even though my worries were gone after that week, and i should have felt relieved, i still felt pretty empty that day.

Not until i saw a message on soundcloud, asking me for a collaboration.

That's how this song came to be. I was pretty proud of the beginning section, and then H-Mister wrote so many good parts, and i started to see where i could take this song. I'd say the input from both of us in that song is 50/50, though i had to make sure that it would be as polished, as it could be :)
