A fierce introduction to the world of Oomycota, Confluence is the debut long form release presented by Naarm based bluhol (aka Loïcc).

Building upon bluhol’s debut liveset performed at Minutiae Festival, held on Wiradjuri Land in NSW during the new year cycle 23. 

Confluence represents a conscious shift in the Australian electronica soundscape, drawing deep inspiration from the vast bush land lining the eastern coast and paying homage to the unique nature and phenomenons that exist there.

Wonderful Mija Healey first introduced me to Mara's music a little over a year ago and I could not be more thrilled to be working with her on an album to be released on our home listening arm of the label later this year. 

This mix is the perfect introduction to a sound artist who is working so honestly and purposefully with audio. Listen closely.

Of all places, I met stdj on the dance floor at Organik Festival in Taiwan, and quickly found we shared an instant love of old minimal psy whilst watching DJ Tool roll it in on the Saturday night. 

Much of this set recording comes with that energy, pumping old school meets new flavours. A modern and progressive mix we are glad to welcome to the PSFM series.
