Northern Road, formerly known as CLB, is a refreshing presence in the world of American bass music. After making a name for himself under his former alias, this new project allows him to expand on the path he carved, free from the creative limitations that built up over a decade as CLB.

Northern Road aims to take foundational sounds of the UK while blending ambient and experimental influences. While the main focus circles around club-ready dubstep and drum & bass, the ethos of the project is designed to bring the listener on a journey that isn’t strictly defined by genre, but by an enthusiasm for experimentation.

Though still in its early stages, Northern Road is backed by a strong foundation. Past releases have landed on heavyweight labels such as Deadbeats, Born on Road, and MONTA. He has performed both domestically and internationally at acclaimed venues including Lakota in Bristol, Elsewhere in New York, and the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago. Recent highlights include performances at Infrasound Equinox, North Coast Music Festival, and a standout B2B set with Taiki Nulight at Hulaween 2025.

Rooted in a deep respect for the craft, Northern Road stands out as a bold, forward-thinking artist in the oversaturated American bass scene.

Disco Milk Records was founded by Paolo Guglielmino, one half of the legendary music duo Tutto Matto. Following the traditions of music anthems like 'Take My Hand', 'Peace' and 'Hugs and Kisses' Disco Milk continues to produce quality Disco, Soul-Funk, and afro-cosmic grooves with a modern dance approach. The label have received support from the likes of The Black Madonna, Tensnake, Claptone, Severino, Jamie Jones, Mark Farina & more.

Since the beginning of his career, Paolo concentrated on creating tracks from scratch and driven by the fresh approach and sizzling energy from their new productions, Tutto Matto quickly came to the attention of Tim 'Love' Lee's Tummy Touch label, where a shared appreciation of party classics, fun and hedonism led to a prosperous working relationship. Four excellent 12" releases and Tutto Matto's globally acclaimed debut album ‘Funkulo’ followed. Two years of pressure, pleasure and intensive production later, album two 'Hot Spot' did its best to burn up the floors and airwaves.

Today, the idea behind the brand new Disco Milk Records is to keep going with classic old school recording practices, utilising live musicians in the studio to get the best out from the sound of classic vintage synthesisers and new studio recording technology. The recording of one track often requires several stages of production and a significant monetary investment.

Disco Milk have conducted sessions in various studios in order to achieve the best recordings of performances from bassists, pianists, horns, strings sections, percussionists, drummers etc.. The label is currently producing singles and albums with remixes by a variety of established and upcoming artist DJ/Producers from the House and New Disco scene like Luca Trevisi (Ltj experience), B Bravo, Ponty Mython, David Agrella, The JM Brothers and more.
