This tree, Sound Waves, is sacred to our people, for it is the webbing that holds together the Purpieverse. With each musical sway and beat, we feel our connection to the Purpies and the people that live there grow. 

Our spiritual guide, a respite for our being. The Soundwaves Tree must be protected at all costs.

Ascending to the stratosphere with his melodic synth work and reverberating basses, Purpie has developed a danceable style steeped in with deep emotion and sound. Born in the Purpieverse, Purpie has been heavily influenced by nature and the adventure that coincides with it.

Hi I'm a producer & sound engineer from Houston TX. I make a majority of my sounds from scratch using serum or by resampling my own sounds I made in serum. I use plugins by East-West for organic sounds in an attempt to be more authentic with live-played instruments. Vocals are done by me or other collaborators. Check out my twitter/instagram @DeKafBass

I tend to be drawn to dark dystopian soundscapes and industrial breaks when making my music.
