Vek Neirbo is the unruly alter-ego of U.S. based veteran DJ, Kev Obrien. The main musical focus for Vek Neirbo is centered around hypnotic minimalist grooves.

This particular set for the Recordmix series was recorded during an impromptu afterhours sesh in the twilight morning hours on New Year's weekend in Denver, Colorado, USA. The vibe moves from deep and dubby minimal house, to tripped-out tech and minimal, as well as some uplifting timeless classics toward the end -- which will carry you on a diverse and introspective sonic journey, for the mind, body, and soul.

The next Volume represents a special audio journey for every electronic music connoisseur. Ted Amber, the founder of Botanic Minds and OMM, joins laminim for  the fifth Volume. 

Born in Lithuania and currently based in London, United Kingdom, he developed over the years a very delicate taste for music. He fell in love with the underground scene at a very early age, and since that moment, his desire was to conquer it through his music. With constant support from some of the most recognized worldwide names and the impressive vinyl releases, Ted Amber constantly delivered to exceed everyone's expectations.

Our winter series comes to an end with the fifth Volume, a significant milestone for us. We would like to thank you for the support! The upcoming Volumes from our second series will be released this Spring.

Like the guests she welcomes on a regular basis Roni quickly moves through the gears and even drops back a few in order to take off in a different direction. 1. What was a scorching moment on the dance floor that made you fall in love with Electronic music?

My relationship with electronic music began long before I ever set foot into a club so I guess I can tell you about a More recent moment that made me fall even deeper in love. One particular moment stands out vividly in my memory and that was Fumiya Tanaka's set at UN_MUTE's Perlon party Art Basel 2022. Complete masterclass and still to this day is one of my favorite sets from the last years that has truly re inspired me.

2. Do you like the combination of chocolate and spice?

YES! IT'S ACTUALLY IT'S ONE OF THE BEST COMBINATIONS BECAUSE OF THE CONTRAST OF FLAVORS AND SENSATION.
AT FIRST BITE YOU GET SWEET RICHNESS OF THE CHOCOLATE AND THEN COMES THE HEAT FROM THE CHILI ADDING DEPTH WITH A SOME TINGLE ON THE TASTE BUDS. THE CHOCOLATE'S SWEETNESS TAMES THE CHILI'S HEAT, CREATING A WELL-ROUNDED COMBINATION OF FLAVORS.

  3. What’s your favorite hot sauce at the moment? 

TOO MANY TO NAME BUT IF I HAD TO CHOOSE ONE RIGHT NOW IT WOULD BE LION'S MANE PIRI PIRI FROM THE HEARTBEAT HOT SAUCE COMPANY, IT'S ONE OF THE MOST ADDICTING
SAUCES OUT THERE.
