This song is part of a series of songs about an imaginary place : The Horizon Gate.

This one is about someone who will have great responsibilities and great powers. This person needs to be strong and courageous, but also to be kind and sensitive! I wanted to make a song with strength but without aggressiveness.

I tried to make a song that makes you want to fight for good causes while keeping compassion, I hope it doesn't sound pretentious. 😇

I only used virtual instruments (solo voices, piano, guitars, strings, percussions, brass, woodwinds, synths).
Many parts are improvised and midi edited (piano, duduk, cymbals, brass and guitars). This part of my work has been long ... very long.

A song about a day in the Maherees surfing and Camping with my Son just before he went to Auz.  Siting by the camp fire cooking sausages and Burgers and drinking beer...watching the Golden sun set into the sea   as only it can in the west of Ireland. Then watching the stars in the sky and feeling part of this amazing brilliant universe..if only for a few hours...

Another bizarro trot around the paddock with the inimitable The Phaige and Dairv W, my astral Neighbours. Gary sent over his backing before Santa loaded up the sleigh and D and I worked independently at first then bounced some ideas around. Gary meanwhile worked his magic with layer upon layer of synth and some really cool bass. D soars and flies magnificently. 
A real pleasure to work with these gents..great talent and always high quality. Modern, proggy music that I hope you enjoy
