He Writes, Records, produces, arranges and Performs all his own music, playing a variety of instruments.  He also collaborates with many people around Bristol but also loves writing by himself.  Also Composing Orchestral music and Visual Scores.

Jonny Morgan is a British soul-stirrer with a six string and a band that hits like a freight train. With dynamic vocals, blistering guitar & sax solos as well as thought provoking, often tongue-in-cheek lyrics, Jonny is creating music that captures the essence of the classic, vintage sounds he grew up on. Think Stones swagger, a splash of the Clash with a healthy dose of driving Americana for good measure.

Winner of the 2024 UK AMA ‘Bob Harris - Emerging Artist of the Year’ award, Jonny has captivated audiences with his songs and charismatic storytelling at iconic venues across the UK and the US, including Glastonbury Festival, Union Chapel, the Bluebird Cafe. In recent times, he has shared the stage with artists such as Jason Isbell, Albert Lee and Ariel Posen.

Jonny’s discography is tied together by his honest, vulnerable and raw lyrics that pack a punch.
