Vincent DiFrancesco is a multi-instrumentalist and producer of electronic ambient and neo-classical music. Trained on violin and viola from early childhood, Vincent first began creating music outside the classical genre with an electric violin and pedal board as a street musician in his early teenage years. Today, his music seeks to reimagine string instruments through the lens of popular music production. Most of his releases consist of up to 70 tracks of recorded string instruments arranged in patterns normally associated with the electronic genre. Instead of creating complex harmonies, Vincent places particular focus on sound texture and quality. Since 2016, Vincent has independently released four EPs and and six singles.

ALLICORN makes hypnotic, dark music. Walls of reverb, grumbling bass and echoing, pitched up vocals with banging rhythms. I'm influenced heavily by black metal, psychedelic dance music, goth, new age and 90's shoegaze. What flows from that mixture is a dreamy, melodic sound with a feel of the fatalist, the bleak, and the dark.

I was mainly a professional music creater and composer for Computer and Console Games, but every some years i have found some time to create a song just for my private enertaining, and thats what i upload here.
i started the professional business in 2000 and after more than 60 released games with music by me, i stopped to count how much music i have done inbetween. my first musical carrier started on c64 in 1993, where i also have composed more than 100 songs.  my last c64 release was 2018.

IDMf has rebranded as Glitchpulse Records! This new name resonates with the modern music landscape and distances us from the contentious term “IDM” and the outdated “netlabel.” While IDM will remain a significant part of our identity, Glitchpulser aims to expand our focus on innovative and cutting-edge sounds within electronic music. This rebranding marks a new chapter where we celebrate the eclectic and the experimental, driving forward with a fresh, modern identity. IDMforums will still be the conduit to the label but won’t be the only source of contributing artists and musicians.
