Fortcast029 is by Tokyo-based artist Shingo Soejima, previously known as DJ M.A.X. 


Blending deep, cerebral techno with a non-linear, improvisational approach, his sets focus on atmosphere and space over structure.


This 69-minute transmission drifts from half-time grooves into hypnotic, trance-laced rhythms — and features four unreleased originals along the way.

ELM represents a sonic shelter. It's where ideas take root, and the interplay of light and shadow unfolds through sound. His work creates space for tension, release, and reflection, with stories crafted with careful intent. 

This mix traces a full arc—opening in stillness, diving deep, and gently returning. Somewhere along the way, it also unveils an unreleased original.

This edition marks his third appearance on the label, following two prior singles.

LOCAL Lockdown feat. 8-Bit Culprit

We are delighted to launch this series in India in collaboration with SUBMERGE - India’s leading dance music collective founded by Nikhil Chinappa. We at SINCHI got the opportunity to have a conversation on the status of the music scene, culture, gender roles, and various challenges it faces along with India’s unique ability to transform the challenges into opportunities with both Nikhil & collective member Manny, who also curated 3 artists who have put together sets, showcasing a distinctly Indian underground sound that represents the scene in its authentic form. 
We will release one mix per week on Thursdays during the month of November and kick this off with 8-Bit Culprit, as he delivers an impeccable set. This is what curator manny has to say about him "8-Bit Culprit is easily one of my fav producers in India at the moment and one to keep an eye out for in the future. He is a regular fixture on top Indian labels like Quilla and Soupherb and I felt his signature moody breaks set would be an ideal fit for this series.  He put together an incredible 60mins set which includes 7 unreleased tracks of his and even his edit of a Bollywood classic by A. R Rahman"

Who is he?: @8-bit-culprit follows a simple ‘less is more’ take on music.
