I met Vinsen several months ago on a vibrant dance floor in Amsterdam, where our shared love for music instantly connected us. During our breaks from the exhilarating music marathon, we delved into conversations about his unique approach to DJing, leaving me eager to experience his musical creations. When I finally had the chance to listen to his mixes upon arriving in NYC, I was thrilled to discover another DJ who takes this craft seriously and pays careful attention to every detail.

Vinsen's mixes are a pure delight, as they seamlessly weave together a carefully curated selection of tracks, forming cohesive and mesmerizing musical tales. The mix he has crafted for us is no exception. Beginning with a mystic and captivating intro by Cologne Tape, the mix gradually unfolds, immersing the listener in a compelling sound journey. With the inclusion of misty Scandinavian morning sounds by Toffes Värld, Vinsen ensures that the attention of his audience remains captivated throughout the entire mix.

We present another QUADRASPHERE. This time up we've got a member of the infamous Hastings Techno Militia. It's Mr Kelvin Hill AKA DJK. As you can possibly already tell he's a big fan of all things DETROIT, luckily so are we. He's been pushing the sounds of the Motor City all over the South coast for many years and is very much old school, playing all things Detroit Techno / House and Disco on a set of 1210's and a rotary Mixer. 

His mixes are pure energy, and he gets through records at a rate of knots, with each set having an extensive track list. Expertly mixed and always full of funk and soul. We are blessed to be able to showcase this truly talented DJ.

A few words from DJK - 

"The remit for this mix was to vary it as much as I wanted to, so I pulled together a bunch of broken beat, breaks, electro, house, bass and techno tracks that on playback, sound to me like some kind of afro-futuristic space journey soundtrack. I'm happy with how it turned out and hope you enjoy taking it for a spin round Mars too. RIP Lennie De Ice "
